Jack Frost is making sure little Lily knows HE was the original Daddy's Lap Dog in Da House!🤣🤣 Of course, he tips the recliner down with his full weight these days! But that's ok, point made Lily!

I'm SO proud of Jack Frost! He is being such a good Big Brother to Lily, his new Chocolate Lab Mastiff sister! Staying outside her kennel at night to keep her calm. Playing with her. Showing her the "ropes!" He's excited to have a playmate again since FrankinPuppy passed a month ago.💔😪 It is warming our hearts too!

Lily is getting used to her surroundings with Jack Frost now! Jack stayed outside of her kennel all night last night! He came up to tell us she FINALLY fell asleep, then went right back down & laid next to her until this morning. It was the 1st time he was outside of either our room with the door closed or his Alcatraz kennel! He's showing he can be a good big brother! Still won't trust his ass home alone! But he's getting there!🤣

My Bride & I lost our 6 year old German Shepard FrankinPuppy to cancer last month. Yesterday, I took her to a place where we had adopted a couple of dogs in the past from. They had Chocolate Lab/Mastiff mix named Pearl on their website that reminded us of a Chocolate lab we had adopted years ago from them, so I took my wife there to see her. Well, she had been adopted the day before. But this beauty, Lily needed a loving home! She came home with is to meet her new big Husky brother Jack Frost! He's excited to have a new baby sister & playmate! He stayed next to her kennel all night to keep her company!❤️ Welcome to the family Lily, & our 1st time in the Mastiff world!

Well, today we adopted a Lab/Mastiff mix named Lilly. Jack Frost, time to step up & be a big brother now buddy! He was lonely without FrankinPuppy. I hope these two have a long happy life together!

Today I took Jack Frost on a walk. The 1st one since his 6 year old German Shepard brother FrankinPuppy passed of cancer last week.😪 It wasn't the same, but we can't sit around & mope all day. Gotta march on with life. We miss you buddy.

It's taken me a few days to post this. While I was out of town at a Fire Department Instructors Conference, my poor 6 year old German Shepard FrankinPuppy had passed! He had a lump on his hip & in March we took him for a biopsy. The Plainfield Animal Hospital said it was a lypoma, a fatty tissue. Then, it progressively got worse, & he was having a hard time walking so we took him back in. They said he needed surgery, but they weren't comfortable, because it might be lingering into muscle now. So we took him to Shorewood Rusty Ridge, where they did the $2,630 surgery & found lypoma, hematoma, necrotic tissue, & some stuck to his femur & hip. Well, I offered to stay home & help my wife, but she insisted I go, because I take this trip every year. Then she video conferences me from the vet Thursday & says she has to put him DOWN, he has cancer EVERYWHERE! 😪 WHAT? They said lypoma! Yeah, they were WRONG! So, I paid for a surgery he didn't need, he had weeks to live. We ruined his last days being miserable hobbling around hoping to fix our 6 year old boy! So I called them NOT HAPPY, to tell them their Lab was WRONG & they were wrong. They said they'd look into it & were "sorry." I've heard NOTHING since. Fuck Cancer! Rest in peace FrankinPuppy my boy!💔 Jack Frost is lonely without your guidance & tattling on your ass getting into things you shouldn't be into you little Husky shit head!
