Podroid 1.2.0 pKVM Support + Full new UI

Podroid runs a real Alpine Linux VM

What's new in 1.2:

- pKVM backend on Pixel 8/9/10 (auto-detected, opt-in via two `pm grant`s, works with Shizuku if you don't have a PC). VM boots in seconds.

- Live LAN port forwarding — `ssh root@<phone-ip> -p 9922` from any laptop on the same WiFi, no VM restart on rule add/remove

- Terminal auto-resize for TUI apps (btop, vim, htop)

- Full UI restyle, snappier keystrokes, audio + clipboard fixes

- In-app X11 viewer for desktop apps

RikkaHub Agent , a fork of RikkaHub that turns a native Android LLM

chat app into a real on-device agent.

What you're watching:

→ Scrolling through the local tools menu (60+ Android & Termux integration

tools, all opt-in)

→ Asking the LLM to update Termux on the phone

→ Asking it to SSH into my home server and check if it needs updates

No cloud automation, no Tasker, no n8n. Everything runs in the app,

on the phone. Tools stay disabled until you flip them on; consequential

actions wait for your approval.

What else it can do:

• Control Android — tap, swipe, scroll, type, screenshots, torch,

brightness, volume, notifications, vibrate, share, battery, WiFi,

signal, location, sensors, contacts, SMS

• SSH client with key-based auth, saved hosts, approval-gated

destructive commands

• Telegram bot — remote handle to the agent when you're away

• Cron / scheduled jobs that survive reboots

• File manager, notification listener, screen automation

The idea is to build something that actually takes advantage of root when it’s available, while still working (with limited features) on non-rooted devices.

Some things I’m experimenting with:

- Detecting root and unlocking extra capabilities automatically

- Forcing true background execution (keeping processes alive reliably)

- Advanced file/system access beyond scoped storage

- Power management tweaks (e.g., preventing sleep, controlling wakelocks more aggressively)

- Running containers / shells / automation tasks in the background

I don’t want to just guess what people need — I’d rather build features that are actually useful.

So: what would you want from a root-enabled app that you can’t get right now?

Anything you’ve always wished Android allowed?

Also interested in edge-case / power-user ideas.

**RikkaHub Agent - a fork that turns RikkaHub into a full on-device Android agent**

First release. Fork of [RikkaHub](https://github.com/rikkahub/rikkahub) with no UI changes to the original, just new opt-in tools behind per-assistant toggles.

**What's added:**

**35 native Android tools** (no third-party app deps) across device info, notifications, hardware controls (torch, volume, brightness), contacts, SMS, call log, camera, mic, location, media playback, and file downloads.

**SSH client** with saved hosts, one-shot exec, and SFTP upload/download.

**Cron jobs** via WorkManager. Create recurring or one-shot prompts that run in the background, survive reboots, and post results as notifications or new conversations.

**Telegram bot** with full tool access. Long-polls, multi-turn memory per chat, whitelist enforcement. The LLM is context-aware so it knows to route scheduled job results back through Telegram without you having to spell it out.

The killer combo is all three together:

&gt; "Every weekday at 9am, ssh to my server, check disk usage, telegram me a summary."

One prompt. No manual wiring.

فكره المشروع اني اضبط جهاز للعملاء يكون فيه الخدمات الي يبونها يعني يكون الموضوع باقات

باقه فيها هوم اسيستانت وتايل سكيل وخدمه ثالثه من اختيار العميل

وباقه ثانيه فيها خمس خدمات

وباقه ثالثه فيها عشر خدمات

المطلوب من العميل يكون عنده جهاز يكون شغال ٢٤/٧ وانا اضبطه من طقطق للسلام عليكم كامل شامل وطبعا كل خدمه لها سعرها

عطوني ارائكم واقتراحاتكم وهل اسوي اعلان ف حراج ولا كيف ؟

لان اخر مشروع مقارب لذا سويته كنت اركب ويندوز للستيم ديك واحمل فيها HHD وتصير تلعب كل الالعاب الي ماتشتغل في لينكس وكنت اطلع باليوم ميتين او اربع ميه ريال طبعا انا اسوي الجهاز الواحد بميتين وكل جهاز يكلفني ١١ ريال عشان نسخه ويندوز برو ..
