Is there a breaking-in period?

I found a used Bolt that I’m planning to buy, and despite it being a 2020, it only has 1,600 miles on the odometer. It’s a buyback and has completed the recall service. When it comes to gas powered cars, I remember that you are supposed to drive it gently during the break-in period. Is the same true with an EV? Is there anything I need to know about driving an almost new Chevy Bolt?

Ear tips for PRX?

Recently bought the PRX. I like them in general. Looking to upgrade to a 4.4mm cable to get that extra power. While I’m at it looking to match them up with a new set of ear tips. What tips are you using with your PRX? Any that stand out as ideal for planars?

2017 vs 2020 in the used market

I’m ready to pull the trigger on my first purchase of a used Chevy Bolt. Very familiar with the car as I’ve been driving a rental for quite some time. However my rental is a 2022, and I’m looking at first gen Bolts. Specifically a 2017 and a 2020. Is there anything I should consider with deciding between the two different years? Both are Premier trim. Are the cars essentially the same but for age?

How much stock would you put in this?

So, I’ve been planning to buy a new car. I’m currently renting to drive for Uber. Went through the painful process to achieve Diamond status to qualify for this incentive. Did the survey, which seemed to say that I would not qualify due to my location/market (Chicago). Still, this arrived in my inbox. Plenty of red flags in the fine print such as: “Once funds are exhausted, no additional incentives will be paid, even if a driver meets the program criteria. Uber reserves the right to (1) withhold or deduct payments in the event of errors, suspected fraud, illegality, or violation of driver terms or these terms, (2) change the trip requirements, incentive payouts, or other program details at any time and without notice, and (3) disqualify a vehicle or driver at any time that does not meet the eligibility requirements. Offer is limited time only, while supplies last, and subject to change in Uber’s sole discretion”.
Would you trust this enough to spend the extra $ on an EV?

First post here. I’ve been driving the Bolt since December as a rental car through Uber. I’ve fallen in love. So I’m looking to buy one on the used market. Saw a private ad here locally in Illinois. 2021 EV. Recall completed in 2023. 88K mi. $11,800. Good deal? What to look out for with the 2021? Advice appreciated. Thanks!
