Our 12-year-old son started on a low dose (10 mg) vyvanse, and has shown improvements in emotional regulation and focus. He has had fewer aggressive episodes and has seemed keen to learn at school. However, at 20 mg, he seemed anxious and didn't sleep very well. We have a doctor's appointment coming up, and we are now considering adding Guanfacine in the evening. He can be extremely stubborn, gets fixated on something or get stuck on a mental loop, and can get agrressive in the evening, when vyyanse wears off.

Does anyone have experience with both these meds ? Will adding Guanfacine to vyvanse help ?
