Lets pile on with more dreams! Herbi addition

More information on all cards- I never finished these, so card 4 is unavailable.

I have since updated my thinking slightly on a few points which I will leave listed below:

- Card 1 - This is a suggestion to bring more ways plants can be Not Tasty™️, this idea brings more benefit to salt POIs and keeps people from eating everything in sight. Not to mention more diversity/knowledge to herbi gameplay

- Card 2 - Note 2) this has been updated & they are no longer tied

- Card 3 - (n/a atm may come up with clarifiers later)

Glossary Lessons

I have been reading up on peoples ecperiences with poly, and a very close friend of mine (30F) was my open door to poly as a lifestyle. My husband (31M) and I (30F) opened up our family to her as we had been close friends for as long as my husband and I had been together and she was already family. I think she couldnt separate us as individuals, and try to meet us there...we arent talking as often and that hurts but that was the only real step in a poly lifestyle I have had. The connection there I think is over but i still value her and her teaching me her lifestyle was a possibility. I wanted to learn more and have made other friends who are poly, who also share their experiences from a sterile/positive space. I have been reading up here also as well as listening to podcasts, and sex ed/therapy style spaces for information about safe ethical and compassionate explorations into polyamory. But my issue, especially in this reddit... is I have zero clue what any of the terms regularly used to describe partners or relations to partners as mean.

Whats a hinge? Whats a meta? Whats a.... comet? I think thats correct? How much lingo is there, and how much do I need to know to communicate with poly people effectively? Anyone willing to help?

Renatus Map Tutorial

Looking to share my map again since the old reddit died and my posts are gone 🫠

https://renatus-rp.github.io/map/

I'll give a rough tutorial for its use too:

1- turn it on, i dont mean rizz up the monitor, i mean push the button in the bottom right side that says ON

2- The main monitor is now on and the lights for all toggles are now on/able to switch on. (Please note there is also audio for all interactions)

Now we can go over the panels on the left and right side. 🙂

The right side of the panel displays!

Top right corner includes a toggle that will put a counter on the left sides large screen display in its bottom right corner. I like using it for counting kills, but use it for whatever or as a sensory toy and rack up an upsettingly large number of clicks. I dont care 🙃

The second interesting thing from the top is the last serviced sign. This tells you the last time we updated the map 👍

Then we get the fun distance button- this track in game distance from one point to another, you can add as many points as you want to track specific paths distances or show friends your fav routes. You can ctrl+z to remove you most recent point. Hit the distance button again to clear.

- This ruler was calibrated using the human in game as a 6ft ruler (games typically use the default 6ft male & he stands about 2 feet shorter than the 8ft tall shipping containers also shown in game), and traced him across a repeatable, straight line for distance. This allows us to get a fairly accurate and consitent IRL scale for the island!

Next section on the right side is the coordinates tracker & numpad. You can copy paste coords and hit enter OR manually use the numpad and the check mark to apply coords. Hitting the X clears coord entries. There are some easter eggs in the system and typing 505 brings up a fun thing. Try some classic calculator gags too if you want. Repeating the entry turns it off. You can control z coords too & we now cache settings so your coordinate map stays how it was last time you were on the map.

Other notable things on the right side are the official name of the map [ÆGIS] & Signatures of the two ppl making the map, myself & dhycee ❤️ All graphics and audio are made by me using photo shop, classic digital painting, audio editing software & game assets. All coding making the thing work and breathe is dhycee's doing. Couldnt make it without her too!

Left side time!

The first thing is a toggle defaulted on the yellow light setting. This is to display default map information. Swapping to the green setting will just throw errors for now, but it will soon display Renatus Server specifics, like custom animal spawns, unique/custom POIS and event locations. There is potential for labels on this setting to be more clear in the future.

The second thing to see is the row of black plastic toggles. These are modes for the map display. From left to right, they are as follows: Satellite // Blackmode // Topography Lines // Grid

These allow for a bit of customization of the map depending on what you use it for most. I love the flat map with the black overlay and the topography & grid. The topography lines were hand drawn by yours truly.

Third fun thing on the left side is the biggest. It includes the Green Screen Display & the panel of buttons.

The screen on default will say Categories & display each buttons label for the left side. Picking on of the left side buttons will swap the display to the right leaning orientation & explain the red buttons that can be toggled for that category. Different categories have different numbers of overlays, so get button pressin! Each turns off with a second click. And it will remember all inputs even when you switch to a different category. This is displayed by the neon lighylt for each category button and a red glow for the category overlays.

Last thing is the fun little notes shared on the bottom left side, which will change randomly OR with updates. These are usually just lore for our Renatus Server. Speaking of, in the bottom right far side of the website, there is a discord link to our server for any RP dino fans. We are small but excited and always happy to have more dino friends! ☺️

I hope you enjoy!
