Andoni Iraola knew he was getting the Liverpool job which could be the real reason he left Bournemouth

Think the whole thing seems a bit suspicious that Liverpool must’ve opened up dialogue with Iraola early this season which lead to him announcing that he was leaving Bournemouth. Bit disrespectful to Arne Slot if that’s the case? I mean the man did win them their first league title in 35 years (in front of fans)

Arsenal fans wanted Kroenke out a few years ago and he actually stepped up and got more involved

Mostly his son was the one got involved yes but Stan certainly did pay the money to back the club to turn the club around. Now you can see the Kroenkes in the midst of the celebrations at Selhurst park being clapped by the Arsenal fans. Shows what proper ownership looks like. Would be interesting to hear Arsenal fans perspective on how the Kroenke’s redeemed themselves.

Spurs will beat Chelsea away and probably draw against Everton

West Ham will lose against Newcastle and beat Leeds I reckon. Spurs hate playing at home and will probably face a sorry Chelsea team licking their wounds from losing the FA Cup Final.

Title race pretty much over

Surely even Arsenal can’t bottle it from here, unless there’s a Michael Jackson masterclass next Monday, you’d expect Arsenal to roll over Burnley. Palace away though? Tough place that I’m sure Palace don’t often lose at, Glasner’s last game at home and Palace players themselves will be playing to be in the starting line up the following Wednesday. So wouldn’t write that game off just yet. Really depends if City can get all three points away at Bournemouth, so remains to be seen.

Do Villa just assume champions league football is already secured?

Seems like they’ve been pretty poor recently in the league just assuming nobody would catch them and probably even more on the beach after getting into the Europa league final so there’s still that as a backup option should they slip out of 5th

Anyone else tired of these stupid attention seeking influencers always managing to get tickets to games? Like at the weekend seen that these two morons MattyFC and that Trey guy (who I thought was a child given the posts on his account but actually turns out be a full grown man) were able to attend the United vs Liverpool game. It’s happening at a number of clubs with the stupid people filming themselves throughout the game faking reactions and making cringeworthy content. No interest in backing the team, just there to promote their own inflated egos.

What infuriates me also is that many of them that when they go to games not involving their teams (E.g Thogden) don’t have the decency to actually sit in the corporate seats but rather take a ticket away from real fans in the home end. You’re not allowed to film what’s happening on the pitch, how about a rule about not filming people in the crowd without consent that have the misfortune of being sat near you getting captured on camera.

It’s already at a crisis where many loyal fans can no longer afford to attend games with many tickets going towards happy go lucky tourists that will empty their pockets in the megastore and buy whatever slops being sold on the concourse. Plus the infiltration of attention seeking influencers always managing to snap up tickets that are only there to promote themselves rather than back the team.

It’s not just the clubs, the FA and the TV companies have done a lot to ruin the game, scheduling games at stupid times like making north east clubs play early Saturday kick offs on the south coast or making London clubs travel up north for a Monday night game.

This comes at a time when one third of UK adults is one missed pay cheque away from slipping into poverty. I imagine a lot of you here are up to your knees in debt and can barely afford basic needs like food at the moment. And at the same time you see the dumbest people going to games while right now you can only dream of going anytime soon. Loyalty is being punished.

It really depends on what kind of mood Arsenal are in when that game comes up as tonight’s game will factor into it quite a fair bit as they’ll either be fired up from reaching the champions league final or very low if Atletico have managed to dump them out.

Plus the factors of what happens on Sunday if City (probably likely) beat Brentford and I mean take them to the cleaners 3 or 4-0 to show they’ve still got fight in them. West Ham in their case will want to send a message to Spurs with a huge performance but don’t think they’ll have enough to beat Arsenal, so I’d expect a draw probably and then the title will go back to being decided on goal difference.

To put the lafter in context, the old firm clubs completely dwarf the rest of the Scottish league in terms of finances, wages, stadiums, training grounds, fanbases and so forth. It really shouldn’t be this close. Feels like this kind of story is much more possible in the premier league given Blackburn won it in the 90s while a non old firm team hasn’t won the Scottish league since Sir Alex Ferguson’s Aberdeen in the mid 80s

Know it well as the same problems exist at Manchester United where we are currently in the midst of a crisis being destroyed by the owners and the board. Chelsea will never win anything significant with the current structure in place just as United won’t either until the Qataris come in.

At the end of the day, if he breaks the record and when the trophy is handed out, there’s not going to be an asterisk inscribed on there to say ‘this amount came through set pieces’ or whatever.

So since that’s something that’s always going to be brought up, let’s discuss it.

One fear that with it being so close is that Bruno gets injured or he suffers the same fate that Ozil did when for whatever reason Giroud just decided to go on a goal drought to stop him breaking the record.

Think we all knew that Spurs were never going down, world just doesn’t work that way. They’ll lost their next two games against Arsenal and Newcastle, maybe they will beat Leeds on the final day but it won’t be enough, Spurs will get over the line.

Forest have to travel down London sandwiched between two legs of a European semi final and for some reason they’ve been scheduled in for Monday whereas Villa get an extra day to prepare playing on Sunday which Forest should be doing so as well. Forest will be too tired to train on Tuesday and will probably only be a light session, then need to cram in full preparation into Wednesday before travelling to Birmingham for Thursdays game.

Scary to think about how good these two teams are and would no doubt win the premier league comfortably. It’s so sad that the premier league is no longer at this level like it was when United, Liverpool and Chelsea were the ones running Europe in the late 2000s while littered with world class players or that period when Man City and Liverpool were at the highest level of football getting ridiculous points totals, challenging for leagues and the champions league
