Nw suburbs of Chicago, internet has been non functional all day.

Woke up to a blinking amber light on router, and complaint from roommate that internet has been down since midnight. I reset the gateway half a dozen times to no avail. Light eventually went to flashing green, then solid red.

After a while, it came back for an hour on its own, then failed again, and has been turning on and off all day. I work remote, and my family relies on this thing for TV, internet, games and work. I am at my wits end.

I am now waiting for a call back from customer support that says it will be over an hour, I have to work in the morning.

Anyone have any ideas?

I picked this up for 45 bucks at a local book store. Its the one with miniatures, not standees.

I mostly bought it for the miniatures, for DnD/DH. Is the game any good? Normally when I buy these used boxes, I just ditch everything but the minis.

Anyone around here had a chance to play it? Is it worth keeping the other components?

Was at a local toy fair near my place, and I found this model kit for 5 bucks with no instructions. Googled the instructions, and I guess I have a new hobby now.

Man. Airbrush and Compressors are expensive.

Got to play this big ole' board game for the second time Saturday. At 7 players, its a really cool experience. Random drafts for factions left me with dragons, which was cool, and a completely different win condition.

The Diplo style games always lead to wierd, unhappy table states when there is a skill mismatch, one new player got nearly wiped by a more experienced player early on. I convinced someone to protect my fleets, and the baratheon player ended up ground up by me trying to make it to westeros.

There was not a single resupply drawn all game, leaving everyone with very small armies after famine was drawn from the westeros deck. This caused the game to drag, as noone could commit to attacks without leaving something nearly undefended. I blame this for the nearly 5h long game.

The guy I allied with early on ended up taking the game, there was some kingmaking involved, but I view that as part of the nature of these types of games.

GoT is a really good game if you have the people for it.
