Looking for subwoofer setup recommendations for a Lexus RX350h with the factory Mark Levinson system. Keeping the ML speakers — just adding bass.

Goal is sound quality first: deep, clean, punchy bass that blends well and doesn’t overpower/drown out the factory system.

Budget is around $1500 installed, hard cap $2k all-in including labor fees.

Looking for recommendations on:
- Best SQ sub options
- 10” vs 12”
- Sealed vs ported
- Amp pairing
- Best enclosure/location for keeping cargo space

I’ve used Kicker setups before in previous cars with a freestanding trunk box, but they tended to overpower and muddy the rest of the audio instead of blending cleanly with the system. I see many suggesting JL, IDQ12, Alpine, and Rockford.
