PSA: Im poor myself but I want to start! Looking to find an editor partner for a brand new gaming channel with opportunity for growth into home diy channel and couples channel.
I have literally hundreds of videos of gaming content. I mainly play escape from tarkov and love watching videos myself and developed a portfolio of great ideas and content ready to be put into my formula.
Truly not looking for a pro but if your trying to get started like myself I'm willing to pay $15 per video ranging from 20min - 40min depending on the story or linkage of videos for the attention span of the average gamer we are targeting. At minimum 15 videos a month.
I also have videos of working on my home and traveling so once we kick off the opportunity to edit different styles of content are viable.
I WANT TO BE CLEAR. I NEED A PARTNER LONG TERM. THAT IS BENEFICIAL FOR BOTH OF US. AS THE VIDEOS BRING IN MONEY AND GROW IN VIEWS, I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO INCREASE PAY. GLADLY.
I'm not in it for the money myself. I want to put my gaming journey on wax so to speak. I want my kids to be able to go watch dad's videos someday. I love consuming content....I want to do the same for someone else and tell an awesome story. If we blow up (truly I can't describe how much content I have available to edit!! So we can upload consistently which is a big part of blowing up) I will more than happily pay more. But for now while we learn and grow it's the best rate I can offer for an upcoming editor trying to get started. Which to be fair to me....once we have the formula locked in the process should simplify and the content/work is readily available. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you decide to make multiple videos in a day then you'll get paid for multiple👍. If you want to just do the 15 vids per month (to keep up with a consistent upload schedule to build numbers dropping a vid every other day (also no pressure to rush, won't start uploading until we have two months of content ready to go so we have a buffer!)) then you can just do 15. Great side hustle opportunity for a new editor. I accept any comments of those more professional editors getting paid more. I get it. A. I just don't have it like that. B. I'm not looking for the editor of the year. Just trying to build and grow with someone!
In time to make the process easier I am working on setting up a home Nas with about 25-30tb so we can work and edit from that directly helping to speed up the transfer and upload process but open to suggestions if anyone has any as well till then!
Thanks all😁
