# Dating in Wichita, Ks anyone any luck?
It has been many years since I had dated, due to long term relationship breakup , made me realized that dating nowadays sucks.
Everybody is glued to their social media accounts their cellphones and gaming devices.
Not enough social opportunities for one to actually meet a real person. It is defeating to see that since all your peers are in committed relationships one that finds himself single midlife has zero chances to meet new people , make connections and friends. It feel like another job hunt. Winter and lack of social places and events that could allow one to meet people, at times lack of money and time it simply marginalize people in my situation. This is not a must or needs to right now but even 7 years from now same lack of opportunities will be an issue!!
No dating groups available where people can actually get to meet online first since this seems to be todays life nowadays. All dating apps are full of frauds and weirdos that pose themselves in their lounge sweat pants and their beer guts or with the national "uniform" trend the scruffy long beard untrimmed and unkept and greasy that more likely hides last weeks snacks.. What happened to class? what happened to cleanliness and showing up dressed appropriately ?!
Today's trends and society feels pretty discouraging.
Anybody can provide any insight?
