Best Low Pressure Car Dealerships

Very early in the car buying stage. Want to go wander some lots and get a rough idea of what I like and what prices are without a sales person following me around and asking a million questions or pressuring me.

What are your thoughts on best spots? I'm technically in Wyoming, so bonuse points if it's on the SW or SE side.

First-Timers Trip Report

Just wrapped up a two day trip as a long time coaster fan, but first timer to the park.

Trip details:

* Family of four (one hard core coaster fan, anything, everything, all the time. One decent large fan, likes quick and flips, but not necessarily airtime and big drops. One kid who's earning his coaster enthusiast stripes, takes some warming up, still has some fears, but rocks with the best of them. One enthusiast in training, lots of nervousness, usually doesn't like things the first time, and just hit 48")

* Did two days (3 if you want to count the one hour we came in Friday on the way to the hotel, just to ride Goliath once).

* Holiday weekend and beautiful weather.

Thoughts:

* Overall, the park was really nice! Guests and staff were friendly. Saw people ejected for cutting (which is a great positive in my book). Layout was overall pretty good, but it might have been nice for either a slightly faster train or some cable cars. Getting around felt like a bit much sometimes, but being a newbie here, We might not have been always taking the most efficient routes.

* Coasters. Loved the uniqueness. My "home " park would be Cedar Point, which sets many things up for disappointment, but I loved that I got to do some things I've never tried before (lay down coaster in Superman and 4-d free spin in Joker). Flash brought back some great Wicked Twister Nostalgia. Goliath, Raging Bull, and Wrath were all good, but didn't live up to their CP counterparts for me. Demon and Viper were both great under rated coasters. Due to swaps and rotations, I didn't do Maxx Force or Batman but others loved them, though Maxx seemed too short to really enjoy. Youngest loved Sprocket Rockets.

* Non-Coasters. Double decker carousel was cool. Kids loved Battle for Metropolis. Swings, Fiddler, Balloons and Cobdor were all enjoyed.

* Cons. There was a severe lack of middle ground coasters. My 48"-er could do more rides here than anywhere else, but most were far too intense for him. I'm guessing Whizzer would have filled that gap, but they could use another middle-ground coaster or two. Other than that and the pretty long lines (90-135 min), we had a good time!

Thanks for hosting us!

Some First Timer Questions

Hey there fellow Coaster Enthusiasts!

Fam and I (wife, 6 year old, 10 year old) are planning to visit over Memorial Weekend. Grew up at and still visit Cedar Point and live close to Michigan's Adventure, so generally good with coaster/park knowledge , but wondered about a few park specifics.

  1. Any rides that don't allow bags in the que?

  2. Any rides that have full on metal detectors and don't even allow phones (like top thrill or steel vengeance at Cedar Point)?

  3. What's your favorite flat ride?

  4. What's your most underrated ride?

  5. We have Gold Pass with all parks passport. Does that get us any early entry?

Any fun tips or tricks unique to Great America would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to rocking out with y'all soon!
