I'm kicking it off with a list of all of the coasters at my home park, Six Flags Great America!

Hello, everybody in this community. So my friends and I took a trip to Six Flags. Great America two weeks ago. And I have the gold pass, which every year that I've had it. Which is this is my fourth year. I think I've had it. It is free parking included this year. It didn't say in my profile on the Six Flags app that I have free parking. So I purchased the day parking, which was $40. And my friends chipped in on it because I wasn't expecting it, and I didn't have enough money to pay that at the time. So I purchase it, it gets activated. I go back to my account just to make sure that it is actually inside my account. And it says, in my profile that I have seasoned parking now, which is weird cause I only purchased the day parking. Not the season parking, so I was like, okay, that's a little funny like maybe it's a glitch in the app. Or maybe they automatically upgrade it, because I actually have a membership or something. Well no, we go into the park. We're having a great day. So far we've been in the park like 4 hours. We go out for lunch in the cars. We come back into the park. We're going up the hill by Rath of Rock shasa towards raging bull, like to the Southwest territory, and there's this giant 10 foot by 15 foot banner saying, if you purchase the gold pass you get free season parking included and I'm like, are you freaking joking? I just paid $40 for something that I already get for free. Is this something? This is my main question. Is this something that I can get refunded? Because it's technically false advertisement and I shouldn't have purchased it to begin with. But it didn't say that I had parking so I purchased. It would they give me a refund though. For the $40 that it costs me to get the parking pass

I'm sorry, if this post doesn't really make sense on what is said, because I was using my phone speaker and it doesn't necessarily make correct sentences with ",?.!" And stuff like that.

Debating if its worth going this weekend based on what I have been hearing about wait times / trains. Do we think I should wait it out ? Or go friday and avoid sat / sun/ mon crowds?

I was trying to be nice, I was blaming things on early season ops, but things are not good on two major rides at my home park.

I'm 6 ft 3 and hovering around 295. I know I don't fit on sky striker and I'm checking myself on Maxx Force Sunday.

Anyone here a similar size and if they do/don't fit on these 2 rides?

Our family is a huge fan of six flags. We bought a commemorative brick and a mini one as well. We received the mini one and while we chose the six flags logo, we got one with the American eagle as the logo. We honestly feel heartbroken as that’s our least favorite ride, probably of all time, and have no idea how to fix it. We have sent emails but have received no responses. Does anyone know how we can get this rectified before they put our brick down permanently??

Okay, I’ll play.
Made our first trip of the season yesterday (5/17) and had an absolute blast. My 13yo and I showed up around 3pm and just based our trip off of ride times.
Walked onto Demon first, 20 minutes for giant drop, 30 minutes for Joker, 20 minutes for V2, 10 minutes for Viper, walked onto giant drop, and then 20 minutes for Raging Bull (entered at 6:55pm). We then got into the ERT line and rode Bull again after about a 20 minute wait.

In summary. Some of you need to chill. I can honestly understand that charging full price when the park isn’t in full operation is a bummer. BUT, we almost didn’t go because of all the hate and negativity spewed about.

Hey folks! I’ve been reading a lot of your posts about ride operations, wait times and the feedback isn’t looking good but it’s appreciated! Truly, it is.

Just a recommendation. Please share your feedback with Six Flags in their website. The more people that do, there is a chance improvements can be made. Now, of course, be sure to share your feedback here on Reddit but you also should post reviews on Google and Yelp. We got to push leadership to actually improve the experience and make our voices clearly heard.

We pay a premium to go here. We should in turn have a premium experience. On Thursday, before 12pm, I waited 20 minutes for one slice of pizza. Understandably, there were a lot of school groups but why is there a 20 minute line for quick service? Literally, pre-paid pizzas is the only thing you can get besides drinks. Having gone to Walt Disney World, service was faster at a restaurant with way more options.

50 years later. Is the experience better or worse?

Do they check the pictures attached to Season Passes when scanning for parking? My roommates and I all have season passes, and we plan on bringing some friends soon. If our friends drive separately, will we be able to give them one of our passes to scan for parking? Wasn't sure if they match the face on file to the person in the vehicle.

Can someone give me a review of this ride lol😓. I want to go on it just the inverted loop has me scared lol!

Hey! Never been to six flags great america before, am really excited to go. I am a little scared of drop rides like raging bull and goliath. Im wanting to know opinions on wrath, max force, x-flight, and maybe Goliath. Rating in like drops and air time. My only concern for max force is just the lap bar restrain. Any advice for riding like what rides i should ride first and just honest opinions. Thanks!!
