Sideways video?

Sometimes on iOS my own video on video calls will be sideways… ending and recalling doesn’t fix it. Anyone know if there’s a fix?

I’m losing brain cells talking to fb marketplace sellers

Me: do you have maintenance records?

Them: yes, are you interested? (This is one of those auto replies you can send)

Another conversation:

Me: do you have maintenance records?

Them: I do not was very clean everything when I got it.Changed everything once again

Maybe I’m just impatient but I’d think they’d put in more effort to try selling their motorcycles

Can I give the Tuesday perk Sam’s Club membership to a family member?

I think my Sam’s Club membership recently expired or is just barely still active, so can I give my T-Mobile Tuesday perk for the $20 Sam’s Club membership to a family member or friend - if I’m there with them during signup?

How to use my time wisely?

I have a close relative who is probably early/mid stages dementia. What can I be doing now to make things easier for them later? I’m trying to pay more attention to how they like their food and other things but I’m not sure how much that’ll help in the end :/ just want to lessen the confusion and uncomfortability if at all possible

Pouring water on the apps

We have a mechanic that pours water on the apps machine because they think it helps packages stick to it better or something.

Help me understand

Soggy chewy chicken again at Strutters

I’ve been to strutters most days this season and it has generally been fine, but a few times that I’ve been given really big tenders, they tend to be pretty nasty on the inside… chewy and soggy at the same time. Just not good.

Thinking about telling a supervisor but not sure how much that’ll help. In the past, I know they would replace a meal if there were issues but I figure that’s up to their discretion so I’ll probably just avoid the tenders from now on… which is a shame because their salad is otherwise one of the better options…

Has anyone else experienced this?

Lou’s restaurant is somewhat open this season

It was open at least the last previous 2 days, but haven’t seen it open yet for today. Just in case anyone with a meal plan wanted something different

Maintenance: making testing stations for equipment?

A friend at work today brought up that they had the idea of having a designated area at work where we could do things like plug in DBCS cards from the card cage and test them to see if they work. Not limited to that but things like that. Also that they recently heard from someone at NCED that this other person’s plant has that and put it together.

I’m just a MM but my experience shadowing people says it might be hard to have extra parts on hand dedicated to the sole purpose of testing different parts… just since it seems like we are out of a lot of things lately.

What are some things that we could put together at our plant for this purpose, and is it realistic?

Icees - where to get?

I know there’s the place between strutters and the entrance to the park that has them, but are there any other places? They’re out of most flavors at that place and food service general help don’t seem to know

Couldn’t find coffee

I upgraded my drink plan today in part because coffee was supposed to be included, but I couldn’t find a single place that served it. Hot cocoa and icees are fine now and then, but are there really no places with coffee?

Smaller lines for premium drink refills?

Would anyone have advice on specific places I should go with smaller lines just to get refills for the premium plus paper cup plan? I figure small stalls in general will probably be at least somewhat shorter lines than the more premium restaurants… looking for places that specifically have hot cocoa and/or coffee

Six Flags drink plan upgrade

So I have the sports bottle currently. I asked around and I was told that if I upgrade to the premium plan, I have to surrender my sports bottle.

What’s the thought process behind that? I feel like it’s a downgrade to have to use paper cups only, although I understand I wouldn’t want hot cocoa in a plastic cup…

Edit: I appreciate all your thoughts! I may end up getting the upgrade after all

Most comfortable indoor places with AC and a close by often clean bathroom?

So far from what I’ve seen, strutters might be the best. Or maybe the western place with the high ceilings… but not sure where the closest bathroom to that is. Yukon BBQ also is probably not bad but I am not sure if it is open as much as other places and I don’t always go to that side of the park to check…

Am I missing anything? Is there a better spot?

Edit: also curious about hurricane harbor area, as I’ve never been there and it is opening maybe this weekend
