People are so selfish for purposely getting their cats pregnant just to “experience motherhood” ik this isn’t a cat ID post but I’m so angry. I’ve experienced so many cats overbred and sick from genetic issues or diseases passed along. Idk when you rescue, this really starts to pss you off. How do you even explain something like this to someone who doesn’t even care?? And how tf does this person not care?
It actually kinda pmo that they undid Gorsepaw dying by Tigerstar and instead had him die during the bloodclan battle in the graphic novel by an unnamed assailant.
Gorsepaw was one of the saddest deaths imo to date and having him die in one slide and not even have any call back to it was a massive blunder.
Mind you, his OG death was shadowclan pinning down his mother and keeping his clan back while he was in the center under Tigerstar’s claws. He was barely more than a kit and Tiger let everyone know what he was going to do and why before he even did it.
Imagine being a kitten watching your family try to help and fail.
And imagine being a mother watching your kit being murdered in front of everyone while you’re held down.
We don’t really have this same display of sadistic killing in the later novels. I’m utd on all warrior content and idk I just feel like this was a big mistake in the graphic novels personally. Firestar didn’t even notice this death too and we also see the apprentices killing bone in the background of the battle. It would have been well worth it to have that be an additional page as well

I think mine is that Darkstripe is in Love with Tigerstar.
By in Love, I mean the toxic obsessive “Love” like Ashfur has. Undying, but in a “pls die, you do too much” sort of way.
In a way I think Tigerstar leaned into it to fuel his devotion and manipulated Tf out of it.
Both Ashfur and Darkstripe were pathetic but Darkstripe was kind’ve a coward imo.
I feel like he was satisfied with whatever kind of attention Tigerstar could give him and even when Tigerstar got with Goldenflower, I see a “chair in the corner of the room” type of situation.
Being vague for a reason lmao.
But yeah. That and I find it funny that the intensely gay-coded cats all seem to be in the same fanclub.
We got Darktail, Sol, Blackfoot and Hawkfrost. Ashfur being included makes a little sense too and tbh idk what it was about Splashtail but him too. .
Mothwing, imo is absolutely Ace, as is Hollyleaf.
Twigbranch may be A-Romantic.
I went off on a tangent, but anyways-
I kinda wish Thistleclaw and Snowfur had interacted during the final battle.
I also sorta kinda wish Tigerstar’s “energy” came back temporarily to help free Brambleclaw and disappeared again.
During the fire when Bramblekit was in the tree, he was terrified for his son.
I don’t wish for a redemption, but I do Love cats that aren’t entirely evil for no reason.
