LG G6 High-Pitch Ringing Sound From Lower Ride Side

Just set up the G6 and on dark scenes there’s a very slight, but annoying high pitched ringing is coming from the right side of the TV.

It’s most noticeable during quiet, dark scenes. Once you hear it, it’s hard to ignore. I’ve contacted the retailer to find out next steps, hoping they’ll take it back, though realistically most people won’t notice unless they’re watching in complete silence.

Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix instead of returning the whole unit?

Option-O Lagom Casa vs Turin DF64 Gen 2 [$700-$800]

I’ve been using a Varia VS3 for about 1.5 years and it’s been a fantastic little grinder, but the motor died the other day and it’s now out of warranty (which seems fairly common with the VS3 from what I’ve read). A bit frustrated given its only been 1.5 years, so I’m looking to move away from Varia.

I’m currently deciding between the Option-O Lagom Casa and the Turin DF64 Gen 2, with the Casa being about $100 AUD more.

I was originally set on the DF64 until I came across the Casa. Counter space is limited, so the smaller size, cleaner workflow, and lower mess are big positives for us. We make around 8-10 shots a day, so workflow and cleanliness matter a lot.

The DF64 seems like the better all-round grinder with upgradeable burrs and more power but the Casa seems to have an edge on workflow, footprint, and coming from a more established brand. Some reviewers mentioned the build quality is questionable given its design, with a slight wobble.

We’re using a HiBrew H10A, so nothing super high end. Reliability is important, as I want something that’ll last well beyond 1.5 years without needing to upgrade.

After reading up more about the Casa, I was leaning towards that for the workflow, cleanliness, size, and simplicity, but the DF64 seems like the most reliable and safest choice, given its larger footprint, less seamless workflow and more tinkering required.

We also exclusively grind medium-dark roasts and the machine will only be used for espresso.

Would like to hear thoughts on the two and if DF64 being the safe option may be the better bet?
