Refund buyer before or after USPS insurance claim approval?
The first time I sent the item it got lost and returned back to me for some reason. I shipped it again at my own expense, and it's lost again. I filed a missing mail search a week ago and today I filed a lost item claim. The buyer ordered this 40 days ago for $47. Should I refund them before or after the USPS insurance claim pays out? I'm afraid it will be found and delivered for free, but I'm not sure what eBay policy is.
