Just when I think I've exhausted all the problems, a new one appears. Something curious is happening with my PS2; oddly, only when I have controller 2 connected does the PS2 shut down unexpectedly, or sometimes it doesn't even start OPL, getting stuck on a black screen. I took a while to realize it was due to controller 2 because I rarely use it. Has anyone else experienced this?

I can only think it's a problem with the ribbon cable, but is it shutting down because of that a possible diagnosis?

Good afternoon,

Within the psxmemcard files, in mmce0:/MemoryCards/PS2/, there are folders called BOOT/, Card1/, and one for each game I saved. Inside Card1/, there was a 64MB Card1 file.

When I changed the save standard to 8MB due to problems, this Card1 file didn't convert to 8MB; it remained 64MB.

I deleted it thinking another one would be generated automatically. I've already updated the SD2PSXTD firmware thinking it would reappear, but there's nothing in the folder. I've noticed that since deleting this file, some games no longer load, requiring a console restart until the save is "read."

How can I generate this file again? I think it's essential.

Good morning,

I'm having a recent problem with my presentations. There are links within each presentation that open other presentations. When I return, it always reverts to the first presentation in presentation mode, but this stopped yesterday; nothing has changed. After returning, it reverts to normal PowerPoint for editing, and the presentation is running in the background, as if it were an Office/Windows focus error.

I've tried several things but nothing has solved it. Has anyone else experienced this? Initially, I was using Office 2016. I thought it might be a version issue and updated to 2024, but the problem persists. Testing the presentation files on another computer with Office 2024, it works normally.

I've checked various items in the PowerPoint file between the computers, and everything seems to be the same.

Tenho um civic lxr 2016 aqui no Brasil, de algumas semanas para cá a ventoinha do ar (seja com o ar condicionado ligado ou não) começou a fazer um ruido muito chato quando ligada, como falta de lubrificação ou as aletas estão cansadas, não sei, alguém já resolveu esse problema?

Good evening,

Initially, I changed the MMCE file size via psxmemcard from 64MB to 8MB. Several files were converted from 65536KB to 8192KB, but some weren't – as shown in the first image of this thread. Can I delete them? Will they be recreated automatically?

Inside /Card1/ (image 2) there was a 64MB Card1-1. Changing channels in psxmemcard created a new 8MB file. I tried renaming it by deleting the first one, since the game was still having loading errors at that point, but it wasn't possible to rename it. Finally, I deleted all of them thinking a new one would be created automatically, but it didn't. However, opening GTA III, the loading occurred normally, but I feel something is wrong, or not?

In image 3 is the GTA III save file. I notice it remains at 64MB. Was I lucky to load it twice in a row without error, or what? Will I have to start from scratch to save at 8MB?
