I want to be able to swing my weapon like a baseball bat and level people like the enemies keep doing to me, is there a perk I need to take for that? I already took the one that makes me harder to knock down, but that doesn't seem to do anything since every time I attempt a rush attack I get leveled.

Anyone else find the combat going from 5 to new dawn just terrible? 160 smg rounds and I haven't even dented a Buffalo's health bar? Come on man. Does it get better? Locations are nice, seeing the Rye's again is cool, but the combat is dumb AF compared to 5's "we're both one hit" mechanics.
