Spock's World Or Doctor's Orders After Q-Squared

Hi All. Yesterday I finished Q-Squared, I previously read The Ashes Of Eden And Sarek. Now, I've already got spock's world and doctor's orders on the way, but I was wondering which should I read first? I mean, I found Q-Squared very serious and I don't want to delve into another high stakes, action-packed book straight away hence why I ordered doctor's orders. Is Spock's World similar to Q-Squared or is it less high stakes? If so, I'll read that one first. On a side note, this is my plan for future immediate reads (i'm on season 6 of tng, going to watch the tng films immediately after all good things... i plan to read crossover etc after the tng films) Finish Q-Squared → Spock’s World → Doctor's Orders → Crossover → Vendetta → The Lost Years → Dark Mirror → Probe → Q-in-law → Imazdi → Federation → Vulcan's Glory → Final Reflection → Metamorphisis → Engines Of Destiny → First Frontier → Yesterday Saga → Rest Of The Shatnerverse

Finished Q-Squared

Well, I was out and about today and read the last 250ish pages of Q-squared. Gotta say, this books plot is very complex and intelligently written, the book deals with parallel universes and it handles it perfectly. Peter David truly crafted this story amazingly and in the end it leads to a sort of battleworld esque climax, a great read

What's your favourite trek tos/tng book AOT?

I'm considering what to read after Q-Squared I have a lot of ideas but more would be great to have by considering your favourite novels. I only ask for tos and tng because i've currently only watched tos, tas, the 6 films and i just finished tapestry in tng. I'm sure this question gets asked a lot but answers would sincerely be appreciated along with maybe a brief description of the novel if thats not to much to ask for, if not, all good!

Where to find trek books in the UK

I know I could go down the route of ebay etc as I have with all the novels I've previously purchased but I would really love to find some in person, haven't had any luck in charity shops.

Most underrated trek book?

I've only read 2 trek books so far. There's so many i'm curious: which trek book in your opinion is most overlooked and deserves far more praise?

I finished this novel earlier today. Its a very enjoyable read, pretty much everything you want from a trek book. The author, A.C. Crispin has written a few books in the trek universe. She's written yesterday's son and time for yesterday which are both sequels to all our yesterdays from season 3. She's also written a TNG book entitled eyes of the beholders. Interestingly she's also dabbled in star wars legends with a trilogy of novels detailing han solo's origin story if you will, many fans wished these had been adapted rather than what we ended up getting (solo). This book does a solid job of adding depth to Sarek's character and providing more insight into his relationship with Spock and Amanda. Quite a bit of the novel also focuses on Peter Kirk, Jim's nephew. Initially I found these sections a bit dull compared to Sarek's but as the novel progresses I started to enjoy the peter sections more and more. I found the insights into Vulcan, Romulan and Klingon culture fascinating and the overall plot of the novel is very intriguing. If you enjoyed TNG's Sarek or Unification you'll sincerely enjoy this book.

Hi all. I'm about to purchase a 10TB hard drive (filled up my 1TB one). Lets say I have a show like the simpsons and i have seasons 1-36 on my 1TB drive would it be fine if i put season 37 on another simpsons folder on the 10TB drive? Would Jellyfin be able to handle that?
