Hi,

I have a current-generation Ford Ranger Double Cab with the factory-powered roller shutter, which reduces the usable bed length a bit.

I’d like to transport a carbon road bike in the bed. How are you guys doing it, and have you installed any special mounting solutions?

What do you think about using a tailgate pad? I’m a little concerned about transporting a carbon frame that way, as I don’t want to damage the frame.
