Hello to anyone willing to help

I'm making an axe for a prop and I need help for a good top coat that is sold in Australia.

I need a top coat for the handle as my worry is that the paint might come off over time.

I've spray painted on a pipe before and it was fine without the top coat but for some reason the paint I used this time had such a different consistency that I'm worried about it not staying. (It was kinda tacky)

And I still need to add some more acrylic paint on top to add some texture.( Woody look)

I brought this camera and it works perfectly but I'm struggling to figure out what type of cable it is and where I could buy one. When. I do a broad search online it doesn't giveme much information.
