Hey Guys,

Apologies for what might be stupid question but I’m trying to find something I can plug to usb c port of a charger that would give me 2 or more usb a female slots that support charging.
I have few accessories that have custom charging cable that has usb a male plug - e.g. ledlenser headlights

I want to use it with satechi 6x usb c 240W charger.

But I’m not sure of the brand.
I’m wondering why can’t I find sth from “popular brands” like Anker, Cable Matters or Satechi.

Are there any hubs that would support charging through usb a ports? I see many that say usb a is data transfer only.

Am I searching for sth that doesn’t make sense?

I had a minor accident today where I accidentally tripped over my USB-C charging cable while it was plugged into my Mac, pulling it at an awkward angle.

Everything seems to be charging and working fine right now, but I'm a bit paranoid about long-term or hidden damage. Since the USB-C port handles both power delivery and high-speed data transfer, I'm worried if this kind of stress could cause subtle issues with data transmission down the road, or if the port's solder joints on the logic board might be compromised.

Have any of you experienced this? Did your port hold up fine over time, or did it start failing later? Would love to hear your experiences or any advice!
