If you were to receive as much help as you need, and the only requirement is to accept that the outcome and rewards are in your hands, why are you not starting yet?

Hello everyone. I saw so many Malagasy freelancer having hard time starting or keeping up after a while.
At first, I thought the issue was the mentality, and sure enough this is the hardest wall to overcome.

Yet, I realized that even with the right mindset, most people will still quit. And the biggest reason is a lack of structure: time/cost management. You can find so many content online talking about how to get rich with a 0$/€ budget but let's be real, just paying for electricity and Wifi is an investment since you consume both time and money for that.

With all of that, I decided that I would propose completely free content and help for freelancer to earn money consistantly and making sure they understand it is neither an easy road nor a fast one. But this road is a real job and should be treated like one, with dedication, discipline and improvement.

And even after all that, I had to face the same wall: most people just quit for whatever reason.

So I need honest opinions:

-If you have free help, no hidden fees, would you feel it is not enough?
-You get constant help and have the opportunity to give feedbacks to help others that are sharing the same struggles, would you stay silent?
-The main strategy revolving around all of this is to help each other because the place freelancers need to earn money also allows for other freelancer to get paid for sharing your work, thus resulting in a win-win situation, would you not put in some efforts?

Let's build a team!

No matter the amount of help and content you look at, the outcome is in your hands

Hello everyone, I saw that free help for struggling freelancers exist yet most people still quit. I want to know why.

I've put together free resources and ongoing support for freelancers trying to build consistent income from scratch without any fees.
I structured everything to build a community to help each other. And that is an important point because the platform I aim to help freelancers work on pays them for sharing each other's work. This makes it a win-win for everyone.

After a little bit of testing, I saw that the mindset barrier is real, but it's not the only killer. Lack of structure is also a big struggle. And even when you solve all of that, people vanish anyway.

And now I need honest answers to my questions:

  1. Does "free" make you trust it less? Yet Youtube and Google are free to use.

  2. If your questions trully help improving the community works, would you engage or stay silent?

  3. If a small effort on your end translated to real income for you and others, what's the real reason you wouldn't try?

I'm looking for real answers, not encouragement because I want to build a solid team.

THe question is really simple, what support did you needed most when you started out (e.g., client tips, pricing, structure)?
And did you find help anywhere or did you struggle by yourself?
