I mean.... the writing, execution, the drama, the dialogues, even the turmoil caused by Gulaab and everything and everyone's reaction to that.. the romance.. the bromance.. the EMA of side characters.. the changing dynamics of a couple been married for ~30+ years.. sab kuch is so well depicted in last couple of episodes.. ye sab agar aata hai inko karna, toh itne din se phir kya humko pagal bana rahe theeee sab milkar!!

Loved everything about today's episode:

1. Gulab relenting finally & showing she is still 1% human by saying 'chalo theek hai, kar deti hu payment'

2. Buzooooo yaar.. dil le lo.. Him being the old school bolywood kinda bestfriend to the ML and getting senti when he said I love you

3. Heer .. dude Jasmeet is becoming my girl crush now..

4. Nawab.. Raza .. what do I even say.. I mentioned in another post today that it took sometime for Nawab to grow on me as a character and hence Raza too as an actor cos this is his first show I am watching.. But kaafi time baad ek actor ko ITV me dekhkar lag raha hai ki abhi bhi umeed baaki hai.. Maybe ITV still has a lot to offer.. Without doubt, the only person who can give takkar to Sangeeta Ghosh in this entire show is Raza,, and that's a huge compliment, given her body of work.. I am seriously enjoying their confrontation scenes in last 3 episodes as much as I am enjoying the romance.. and that's saying something..

5. Dalip.. mujhe hasi aati hai ki ye aadmi hamesha itna laachar, aur bechaara kaise rehta hai jab paise the iske paas tab bhi, aur ab nai hai tab bhi. :D

I was thinking why couldn’t they just enjoy dating phase for a while, why the need to get married right now..

The first marriage happened against their wishes and they both weren’t ready for the responsibilities.. Usually ppl prefer getting married when they are financially stable and that’s how ideally it should be.. ofcourse Heer has that Teacher assistant job now but it won’t be enough.. and yes boxing for money sounds old school bolywood kinda romantic but it isnt sustainable.. Then why marry now!!

Of course its a plot device to bring kalesh, angst, etc etc..

But deep diving into their character arcs.. I remember that the first time Nawab questions what Heer is to him.. (him in the car during holi episode, going to save Heer from the goons) and he has the realisation that ‘biwi hai wo uski’ and the way he just got lost into calling her his wife at that dhaba (special mention to that cute dhabe wale sardarji who was tortured by Nawab’s shenanigans 😆)

So yeah.. Nawab ko aur koi rishta rakhna hi nai hai Heer se.. Nawab friend, na girlfriend, na love partner.. It has to be wife cos who would want a demotion anyways.. And also why will he take risk of not being married when ppl like Arjun are so opportunistic to get engaged and abt to be married within 1 month of Nawab leaving Heer alone..

So yeah.. that’s the musings.. it makes sense.. as to why “wo biwi hai uski”
Also special appreciation of how Heer loves it when he says this ❤️

Ab agar itna talking shalking kar hi rahein hain toh why not express when they started falling for each other..

All the previous instances when they had so much physical attraction towards each other but couldn’t act on it..

Nawab should express how jealous he gets if anyone invades Heer’s personal space (I don’t want them to mention the names of Arjun, Simmu or Tinu) but in general they can express their possessiveness

Lastly the episode 138 in Pammi’s wedding track when Daljeet is going to find out about Heer playing detective and Nawab fakes makeout sesh to save her.. I want that same scene to play back in some other context and this time Heer says everything but about Nawab.. ki inse raha hi nai jaata.. main door chali jaati hu toh tadapne lagte hain like a machali 🤣🤣😂

So many minute things to enjoy in this episode

1. Heer and Nawab enter and he asks what should he do of gathbandhan, and she says.. ye tum raklo.. and he cutely says Thank you 🤩

2. He tells her very mischievously to cross the room and get on the other side of the bed

3. In the end, when he is fighting for keys and says mujhe keys chahiye and Heer says aur mujhe mera ziddi pati 🙈

4. And the logic she gave that you have accepted Sandhu as surname but u can’t stay at Sandhu place.. 😂

Bhai kuch bhi bolo, when they are together, nothing else matters to them.. Arjun and Tina ki kaafi jalne wali
Hai.. agar iss gadhe ki classes alag hui kissi subject ki, how will he survive that period without her 😂

And prof Kailash? Wo toh sachme inko dekhkar samjh nai paaenge ki saath me assignment dena hai ya alag alag 😂

They say that a hero is as good as the villain.. That holds true for love stories too.. A show serves if the antagonist is good.. And the Gulaab brar is that villain here.. She doesn’t need Arjun, Simran, Tina, Ajit to cause MUs.. given the arson (quite literally), she can destroy everything..

Kya gaslight kiya bhaisahab Nawab ko end me.. But I am sure Nawab doesn’t care (at least.. for now.. snake bite ke baad kya hoga wo dekhte hain)

Coming to the overall episode… wow!!!!

Such nuance even with the romance..

Nawab calling rose petals Kamal, cos apni suhaagraat pe apni maa Gulaab ka naam kaise le wo 🤣😂

Buzo and Koyal man!! Aise hote hain sacche dost.. loved how Buzo’s family was so welcoming and the feeding of sweets was too cute..

I saw the glimpse of Heewab in bed before watching the episode and was shell shocked 😂 ki itna jaldi yahan tak.. but in the episode, with the way they shot it.. loved it

Nawab wanting to just talk cos he has missed few month’s in Heer’s life.. but of course he is attracted towards her.. he definitely wants to at least kiss her.. I don’t think even if that molotov cocktail didn’t disturb them, they would have done much today..

(That haseen dard* will take time guys.. isliye pls hold your bijlis 😂)

I think I was the last person in this sub to watch the episode yesterday and missed all the live action 😅
Koi na.. I will still share my thoughts just to make up for it 😎

Since we already know how awesome the episode was and so much good stuff, I will maybe talk about some of the other things that I felt

- Jasmeet is only 20 i guess.. and it shows.. ekdam cutie pie baal vadhu lag rahi thi shaadi ke jode me 😅

- Love how Nawab couldn’t act out his over eagerness and instead started teasing her about how ‘feeka’ the proposal was!! Jhaadu se pitega ye gadha

- I said yesterday that he will start dancing on the dholak beats but when it actually came to the song ekdam se.. i laughed out cos it was so random 🤣

- Yaar the makers for sure had some plans for Simran’s character to be grey and not outright negative as shown cos no way I will believe she was supposed to be this psycho initially.. felt kinda bad for the situation in terms of she is on her knees, & Nawab is dragging the whole proposal.. I mean did he really need her proposal to realise his true feelings for Heer.. I mean naaah!! this execution could have been better.. but anyways maybe they need villain besides Gulaab now as Ajit is in jail.. ekdam se tayaji has become active, tayijii also had some expressions as if she is with Heer on this and Bebe ne toh jo 180 degree turn maara hai after ~ 200 episodes of being regressive 😆

- Lastly I don’t know about u all.. the episode was super cute and all but I felt it a bit anticlimactic.. like itna drag kiya everything for 3 months & suddenly everything resolved within a single episode.. usually this is shown when a itv show is supposed to wrap up before its time.. but yahan aisa kyu when clearly its not the case..

Anyways.. good episode.. i hope the excitement continues.. and they serve us 🤌🏻

But honestly??? Mujhe lag nai raha they are gonna be showing much freaky stuff, ye cute-cute hi khelne wale hain doston, given their past showcasing 😆😆 isliye kripya karke apni umeedein kentrol me rakhein! 🤣

I mean… aisa lag raha hai sab kuch hamare aas paas ho raha hai, as if we are standing alongside Buzo in CPU university, begging Nawab not to say yes to Simran.. as if we are accompanying Heer on her horse, alongside in a car ? 🤣🤣.. I am way more invested than any close real relatives wedding I have been excited in last couple of years 😂🤣

I know that one reason is Razmeet chemistry is top level.. but what else.?? Why is this show so unique in terms of creating such strong fandom..

Jab kuch bura hota hai toh the trauma is so real and when jab kuch acha hone wala hai toh the excitement is also another level 😘🤌🏻

Plotwise, the loop holes are more than the holes in the ozone layer.. phir aisa kya hai iss show me.. itni baar chorne ki koshish ki, but the addition is so deeply rooted… batao batao guys!!

P.S : Musing this while being sleep deprived, waiting at the airport for my early morning flight…The only good thing is aaj ka and kal ka mera din jaldi nikalega so that I don’t feel the frustration of waiting for late evening episodes 🤣🤣

What an amazing amazing book..

Can’t talk about it without giving out spoilers, but would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fast pace page turner of a psychological thriller!!

Yesterday I said the ‘Ho gaya hai tujhe pyaar’ song from Pardes movie would fit the climax to this track with Heewab reunion..

Today I saw an edit on this song of “Aaya Terr Dar Par” and I wholeheartedly agree that this fits Nawab’s helplessness in tomorrow’s episode.. 🫰🏻

Why are they just not showing intense scenes atp cos the audience is mostly Gen Z and even younger demographic? But that can’t be the reason cos there have been shows like Remix, KYY, mile jab hum tum, etc.. where young adults have been shown romancing..
I mean, arey thoda toh kuch dikha do yaar 😅😂

IPK with their second marriage had one of the most romantic Haldi sequence..

Even shows like YRK with 2nd Gen Kaira had so much romantic scenes thrown almost every episode, yahan kyu itna akaal pada hai bhai when the chemistry is so good!!!

First of all, so so glad I finally gave in and caught up on everything so far.. It overall feels like Heewab is right now love bombing me with all their cuteness 🤣

But honestly so much to unpack, will try to keep it brief (but can’t promise 😅)

1. That Drunk heer confession and the cycle ride to interview, wale episodes were way more cuter than that Romeo Juliet play, but kya karien.. hamara poor PH 😂 na costumes ke paise aur na stage props ke, and chale hain drama club ko bachane..

2. ⁠Simwab equation(🤢) : Nawab sir, for sure I wanted to thrash you couple of times, especially that rain shenanigans you did for Simmo.. but theek hai, I will take that hair flick behind ears gesture as goodwill from your end, cos just before that you saw that scar on Simran’s shoulder & maybe that was your way of telling her to take care (whatever 😏)

3. ⁠I am against violence but that slap that Pammi got by Heer in mandir: aaahaa dil ko thandak milli.. sudhar ja re Pammi.. Ye Sunny koi kaam nai aane wala..

4. Arjun sir.. by god ki kasam.. itna na giro ki uppar chadne ke liye bhi ladder lagani pade..
   What is even this emotional blackmail that you are doing in the name of mom’s illness.. cermonies kya, tu bacche karlega shaadi ke baad aur bolega lets pretend till my mom gets better.. idiot!

5. Ajit : Teri toh supari - paan-katha, sabkuch dena chahiye

6. Gulaabo meri jaan.. itna dimaag, effort, energy aur time agar sachme business me lagaya hota, toh aap aaj Elon Musk ko bhi takkar de rahin hoti!

7. Neelu : mujhe umeed toh tumse kabhi na thi, but yes sometimes I feel sad looking at your helplessness.. maybe you learn some survival skills from your kid whose always fighting all her battles alone

8. Dalip and Anmol : Jitna bhi, jaise bhi you are supporting Heer.. lage raho.. tathasthu!

9. Richa bro tum toh show chorke ja rahi thi, how come I see you and not Jimmy anymore 🤣

10. Chalo guys baut ho gaya timepass. Chalo kaam ki baat pe aate hain…

Heewab.. my babies.. kya yaar tum logo ke move on, ke chakkar me hum sabko instant pain releif ointment ‘moov’ lagana pad gaya tha..

But honestly man!! What a come back…. What a serve guys 🤌🏻

11. That drunk jealous Heer and smirking Nawab episode is gonna be my top 10 favourite episodes of TJJD for sure

12. Nawab saving Heer’s job and that conversation while he asks her why didn’t she wait for him, was much needed

13. And finally.. Heer my gal, the way you are determined to marry your guy!

And Nawab sir.. you the lugai as the FD rightfully calls you 😂

14. I had made a post few days back that we never got their falling in love and mutual realisation phase. Heer never really confessed or even expressed her feelings openly

But whatever they are showing now, I will take that over whatever ghatiya EMA angle they were trying in-between, cos as someone who just binged 14 episodes I can definitely tell you, they have pivoted and how! Right now, No complaints..!

In conclusion: the last scene of today’s (yesterday now 😅) episode where Nawab is about to throw the ring out of the window and Heer says.. “Nawaaaaab.. hamari ring”

Haaaaaye.. Balaiya le lun main dono ki ❤️

Same as the title, looking for some well written romcoms, maybe some witty, banter, good slow burn and angst and definitely Vampires if possible..

Came across {Hot for Slayer by Ali Hazelwood} which is a short story but it does slow burn and chemistry so well.. 🤌🏻

Similarly {My roommate is a Vampire by Jenna Levine} is a fun read too..

Also, if not Vampires, werewolves romcoms are good too but a similar quirky vibe please..

P.S : I have read and absolutely loved {Bride by Ali Hazelwood} but right now looking for some more fun stuff..

I have been an ITV viewer since ages.. The falling in love phase and the mutual realisation is supposed to the most dragged and juiced out portion of a dailysoap (yes I will call TJJD as dailysoap, cos it is, now!)

They had the entire 1/3 of the show with Thelawati and enemies trope beautifully done! (Only if we would have known how sweet Tina was initially, having seen Simmu and Arjun right now 😅)

Then they introduced mutual liking, acceptance of ‘main pati hun iska’, ‘ye biwi hai meri’ for like maybe 10-15 episodes ? (Didn’t check to confirm)

And uske baad, MUs ke baad MUs, separation and now stupid third angles, quadrangles bs..

They didn’t even properly milk their best phase of the show.. and now things are so bad ki kuch waqt baad (lets assume next 2-3 weeks), even if they show the reunion, won’t we be left with a bitter after taste to even enjoy that properly..

Isse acha toh pehle hi montage me 2 sisters, 1 guy trope dikha dete (like all the other age old typical ITV shows do)

P.S : The intent of this post is not to hurt anyone’s feelings.. watching the episodes actively, it’s just pure irritation at my end, having invested months, for it to reach at this stage, that mere snapshots of ML with a supporting character(who shall not be named) is infuriating in itself…
