Has anyone tried making a Silver Surfer out of the retro white Vision?

Has anyone tried making a Silver Surfer out of the retro white Vision?

I was thinking about giving it a try but probably painting the joints will be a pain in the a** (obviously). I have some silver paint markers that should work with just one coat, so maybe the paint rub could be avoidable. I just wanted to see if anyone tried making one before and how it would look like.

Coins page showing the same 20ish items on a loop while scrolling down

Not sure if it's only happening to me. Is it a bug on the app? Noticed it yesterday and clearing the cache didn't fix it. Every other page works fine.

A bit late to the party but I got a Titan Galacus today.

Not a Legends but after seeing so many posts about it i'm happy to have him. Found it for 10€ at a shop that was closing down. Will be a good excuse to add more F4 figures to the collection. I will try to give it a black wash too, or maybe dark blue.

Finally managed to complete my custom Doctor Octopus.

Took me a few weeks working on it on and off but in the end it came out just as i imagined it. Had a few setbacks mostly with painting the joints (trimmed them but the paint keeps chipping on the feet).

The idea came when i found a static figurine of Doc Ock and then a Frog-Man body.

Stripped the original green paint on the lower body, gave it a dark green wash and painted the yellow parts.

Cut off the figurine's claws and connected them to the flexible tentacles made with usb lights, added a couple bits of heat shrinking tubes just to be safe and painted it silver, added a red gem on each claw.

Cut off and dremeled head and feet from solid plastic to make it fit on the body.

My most extensive custom yet. Really happy that i didn't mess it up.

Progress on my custom Doc Ock was slow but i'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. My most extensive custom yet. The idea was taking parts from a static not articulated Doctor Octopus figure and installing them on a Frog-Man body, along with custom flexible tentacles.

So far the tentacles are pretty much done, i just want to add a red gem in the middle for some extra detail. Chopped and dremeled head and feet, which wasn't a bad result since i never used a dremel before.

For the feet i just tried to replicate the original foot and it worked well, drilled the hole and adjusted it bit by bit.

Weathered the green body with a dark green wash and painted the yellow parts (thanks to whoever suggested in another post to use magenta as base color, worked great).

Now i just need to paint the feet and adjust the holes in the back for the tentacles.

I' m happy it turned out the way i wanted.
