“What I eat in a day” - WHO actually likes this?!

Sorry for the random post. I see so many of those “What I eat in a day” videos on social media and I truly do not un how they came to exist and why people watch or enjoy them.

They are either ED content (I.e. someone with anorexia bragging about how little they eat), someone who works out a lot or someone saying “what as I eat in a day as a girl who likes to eat”.

I don’t get it. It’s probably just a me problem but those types of videos piss me off. I don’t want to know what others eat. I just want to stop eating all the time.

I still hate coffee but…

I am such a baby when it comes to bitter things. I don’t like coffee or dark chocolate and I’m a grown adult.

However, I decided to test if I still hate it by having my first ever caramel latte. That was the first thing I consumed today.

Now I have taken myself for lunch. Usually I would inhale my food. I am eating a plate with salad, couscous some hummus and three falafel balls.

I live in Japan, so trust me when I say the portion of food is not large.

I expected to wolf my lunch down embassingly quickly as usual. HOWEVER- I have had to stop a few bites in. I am not hungry. Not at all. I WILL finish it. However, I have never ever felt this kind of sudden loss of appetite.

It must be from my latte! This is probably obvious to you all, but I never realised it suppressed your appetite like this!

TLDR - A caramel latte stopped my usual propensity to binge!

Pronunciation of Marcello?

Hola a todos.

I have a question that I have googled and cannot seem to find an answer to. so, I’m hoping someone can help me.

I like the Cuban American comedian Marcello Hernandez but I am confused by the pronunciation of his name. He and his mother pronounce his name with an “L” sound but I thought that double L in Spanish was not pronounced that way.

Could someone please explain this to me?

Gracias de antemano!
