Help connecting my Wave XLR MK.2 to PS5
Hello friends. I had a Shure MV7+ for a long time and decided I would use it for my PS5 since my headset’s microphone is currently having issues. Then I learned that I couldn’t use it because it had UAC2 and not UAC1 which the PS5 doesn’t support and I don’t know what that is. But the solution was to buy the Elgato Wave XLR which I almost did instead saw the MK.2 which was superior and would still help with the issue.
And before I even plugged the Mic via XLR then the Wave XLR to my PS5 via USB-C to USB-A, I updated both the mic from their respective applications. And would you know nothing is happening. The light comes on the Wave XLR, and when i speak into my mic it like shows that audio should be going through and everything is fine but I can’t change my microphone input on my PS5 to the Wave XLR MK.2.
So a little more research, I need to apparently change my kHz again whatever that is to 48kHz on my Wave XLR, and being honest I don’t know how, maybe I’m dense but the step guide which I found really wasn’t helping me out as I need to see pictures or videos of the steps done on a Mac.
So could y’all help a friend out? Sorry for the long paragraphs
