Hardware Acceleration used in GameVox

We have just made performance improvements to the hardware encoding and decoding in GameVox. Most of your cards will support some type of Hardware encoding. In general this will increase the performance of the stream output as far as frames per second your computer is able to send smoothly.

Protect your server with Access Control - new additions
Not only can you use a server password but there are some new features that help keep your server clean and account safe. When a user does things on each Gamevox server they gain XP for that server, this can be used to know how new the users account is with your server and now allow brand new users that could be malicious to message your users.
Similarly you can simply lock users out depending on account age.
Another way to lock out spam users is to only allow verified accounts (email or phone) connect to your server.
The choice is yours.

New Notifications Bell at the top right of desktop client!
What it shows
Four sections, sorted most-recent-first:
- Mentions: direct u/mentions, group mentions, replies to your messages, and forum u/mentions
- DMs: friends with unread direct messages
- Followed forum topics: new replies on topics you're subscribed to
- Servers: aggregated unread count per server (muted servers excluded)
A numeric badge on the bell shows total unread (caps at 99+); it turns red if any mentions are present.
You can mute notifications by right clicking on a servers name
