My black bamboo on Vancouver Island is flowering. is anyone else experiencing this?

Some of my black bamboo is flowering. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have read that it’s flowering around the world.

I just learned about these amps and would like to hear from those who have used them. They seem great but so does everything on the demo videos!

If you have actually used this sword, I would like to hear your thoughts about it.

My wife and I (mid 60’s) are looking for a place to go in mid to late October and early November. We enjoy ocean swimming and hanging out on the beach. Not big drinkers but enjoy a margarita or two. A local arts and music scene would be great. I speak enough Spanish to get in trouble. Any suggestions?

My machine used to want 8 or 9. I went on a month long trip and returned to it wanting 4 and now 3. Does this mean I need to do a deep clean of the grinder bits?

I just got back to Canada from a month in NZ. I saw some Maori cultural demonstrations including weapons but wasn’t able to ask any martial arts questions— no time / opportunity. Does anyone here know about Maori weapons and arts? Lots of techniques seem similar to Japanese jo, but not identical since one end of the weapon is a spear and the other is a flattened end.

I’m a big fan of the blues and wondered what people think about this group— friendly?
