I’m not asking for anyone to provide anything just looking for ideas

A few years ago, my dad sold his home in Cambridge and purchased a property in the U.S. He’s currently in the process of applying for U.S. citizenship. While he spends about 25% of his time in the U.S. with family, Cambridge is still where he primarily lives.

Until recently, he had a stable place to stay whenever he was in Cambridge, but unfortunately that arrangement fell through at the last minute. We’d love to help, but we simply don’t have the space, especially with our son recovering from major surgery.

My dad is back in Cambridge for the next two weeks for post-cancer follow-up appointments and screenings, so we’re trying to find him somewhere to stay on a short-term basis.

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced short-term rentals or accommodations in the Cambridge/Kitchener-Waterloo area? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there, I am currently working as a paramedic in Ontario, I am looking to connect with someone from each service - I am working on a project and I’m hoping to talk directly to paramedics as opposed to management.

I know this is a big group but if you’re actively working for a service, can you reach out to me with what service!

I’m a paramedic in Ontario - signed up to volunteer. Did the 2 hours of required modules. Did the records check, got an error when doing the record check (I get vulnerable sector checks every 6 months with work so there’s no concerns there) I was told to contact them. I emailed them and was told it could take 15 business days to respond. It’s been over 2 months. I’ve followed up every 15 days for the past 2 months. No response.

Like this is volunteer, why is no one responding to me. It’s leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Anyone have an idea of what other avenues to explore before I donate my time to another organization
