Please go back to 600 credits forever

Honestly, for the first time since I got this app, the quantity of free credits seemed fair. I don't know the reasoning behind the temporary increase, but I believe it should be a standard. Players will feel more rewarded, and more comfortable with the idea of paying for credits. Spending money out of necessity always feels like we're paying to live (which is literally the same as paying taxes), but under a more rewarding system, we'd be paying because the devs are treating us well, encouraging us to support it. I say this out of experience. I play FGO, and I never feel the need to pay in order to enjoy the game. The devs of that game make players feel comfortable, so from time to time, when my wallet allows me to, I spend money on the in-game currency to support them. Because the game is fun and I want it to continue existing.

I don't know if I explained myself, but my point is that the money you're bound to receive more money in the long run if you give players a reason to stay by treating them more fairly. Make them love what you do.

So in a long story short, 600 daily credits should be the norm, and players will certainly appreciate it. If not, then 500 credits, at least.

Starting Lumencia Academy and... What do I do with this?

https://preview.redd.it/b6q83qcvm3kh1.png?width=809&format=png&auto=webp&s=0198ed274a81f5b2ce0c3a758fc5b7d550991c32

I'm a little confused with the dialogue options. Some look like they're there for context, but isn't that suppossed to be in the player guide? Do I pick only the one at the bottom and edit it? Is the one in the middle also meant to be editable? What is "Soul" supposed to be?

Thank you in advance.

Toa Mata Articulations FOR HOBOS (Subbed)

This is the video I submitted for Bionicle Day. In case you want to watch it again or if you missed it.

It's honestly one of my best and funniest videos, and I think it had a fairly possitive reception. I'm quite proud of it, so excuse me for wanting to advertise it a little more ๐Ÿ˜…

Note: The audio is in spanish, but I added english text and subtitles to the dialogues, so language barrier won't be an issue. Enjoy! :D

Can't you add '+18' labels for characters?

Yeah, I think it would be beneficial to be able to label characters as adult content like the stories. This is very restrictive for creators because even when using vague language to not be explicit, our work still gets taken down, so either we censor it so much that it becomes unrecognizable from our original vision, or we give up on it.

Stories have '+18' labels to protect it from sensitive users, so why not add it for characters as well? It can't be that difficult, and I'm sure many users would appreciate it. It would be far less stressful for creators, who would have complete creative freedom.

Please consider it, developers. I think we would all be happy about it.

Then why did they allow me to create more than 20??

Seriously, I spent literal weeks creating up to 152 keyword notes to flesh out the world building! What do you mean that I couldn't create more than 20?! Why did you allow me to continue creating keyword notes only to turn me down like this?!

Sorry, just wanted to rant. But seriously, this is the biggest backstabbing I've received in a long time as a creator. They should have added some form of limit, like with everything else.

What are these badges for??

What are they about? They seem to come from a story, but they aren't specific at all about where it is ๐Ÿ’€

Any help?

How can I add a bookmark?

I just got to a moment in my playthrough that I'd like to revisit in the future but I don't want to scroll up as I continue playing. Is there a command to the AI that allows me to add a bookmark that allows me to access that specific chapter?

How do engings work, exactly?

Okay, I *think* I have a general idea of how they work, but I prefer to ask just to be sure.

So I am making a Bionicle-ish (emphaisis in the "-ish") Isekai as my first story. It's a rather straightforward story all things considered but it has multiple endings.

The thing is that I'm not ENTIRELY sure that I got this right. Each ending has a prompt where you, supposedly, have to enter the ending conditions.

The way I wrote is more or less like this:

>You side with this side of the Destiny War because blah blah blah. You go to this place and kill the bad guy. With the bad guys defated, you and your allies travel to the other place so that you can use the maggufin to awake Mata Nui, which has X and Y consequences. Reflections, reflections, reflections. You say godbye to your friends and go to stasis.

(it's an oversimplified example, as if I add what I put in the actual ending you won't understand jack sh*t without some decent knowledge about the Bioncle lore)

Now, what I did here was explaining to the AI what *needs* to happen in order to achieve this ending because it's how I understand it works (albeirt in a rather narrative way, don't know if that's bad).
However, I'm starting to wonder if the prompt is there just to write what happens EXCLUSIVELY AFTER you achieve this ending. The tutorial the devs put is too vage to understand which of the two is the prompt for, so maybe you guys know more?

Any clarification will be appreciated, thanks!

Requesting for ads will open Pandora's box. It's not a good idea

The idea of having ads in this app terrifies me, because if the complaint is that the devs are too greedy, there's no guarantee that they'll be more charitable with users once they include ads. There's a chance that adding ads will change nothing. And you don't like them, you'll have to pay more/enter a monthly subscription. I know I might be biased since, well, I just hate ads, but I think we can all agree that they're universally intrusive and annoying, and no ad blocker that I know is guaranteed to work for mobile apps.

I just believe it's wishful thinking to believe that adding ads will magically give us more tokens per day. We don't know the developers personally, nor if they're charitable or will see this as a chance to get more money. Even if they do give us more tokens at first, that's something they can take away at any time. Just look at Sony.'s Crunchyroll. For me it's not worth the risk, and I'm willing to just play the game a little before going to bed than having to get interrupted by Antonio Lobato telling me how much my non-existent car costs for the millionth time (if you're Spanish, you'll understand lol). And yes, even reading apps can play video ads, not just images. I have seen it in manga apps.

Sorry for sounding like a doomer, but I believe we need to be realistic and think this through, because there's no way back if this happens. What do you think? I'd like to hear your input. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic and you have some context that I don't ๐Ÿ˜…

PS: don't try to say "adding ads" out loud or you'll bite your tongue ๐Ÿคฃ

How to let the AI know that I'm referring to the player/user?

Okay, so I'm creating a story, and among the notes and stats, I'm trying to apply stuff exclusively to the player/user/reader/you if you happen to play it. The thing is that, AI being AI, I don't know how should I make sure it understands that I'm referring to the user. Because if I tell it "the user can do this", it can either think that the user is literally called the user or that there's a character named the user and apply it to that imaginary character.

Is there a command when creating a story that ensures that the AI knows that I'm referring to the user?

How to create specific characters to stories

So I'm creating a story and I want to create a specific character for that story that I want the player to interact with, and I want to be very specific about their personality. The thing is that I don't exactly know how to do it. There IS a section to create characters, but it seems that it's meant for chatting only? I don't know, I need to know exactly how this works. Any help?

Are half-vampires even a thing?

Yes, we all know that a child of a vampire is born with pale skin. We saw as much with Agronak/the Gray Prince, but he simply described himself as a "vile spawn of evil", not a "bloodsucker" or even a vampire. The revelation affected his self-image, but up until then he had been leading a normal life. His absurd strength could perfectly have come from his training exercises. Hell, even his pale skin might come from the fact that he WAS a half imperial.

So my question is, is there such a thing as a half-vampire in the TES universe that inherits traits from their parent vampire, or are they born perfectly normal?

You think Onua was misrepresented in Mask of Light?

I don't mean his visual design. I don't think that it would have been easy to animate him at the time if his head was at the height of his shoulders. I should know.

I mean his personality. I haven't read the books, but the way I understand it, he's more of a listener, the voice of reason of his team and, in a way, a bit of an introvert.

The movie does almost a 180 and makes him loud, extroverted and almost aggressive (a trait he shares with movie Whenua in LoMN). Again, I haven't read the books so I can't make an objective claim. Was he like this after he became a Toa Nuva, or did the film's writers take a look at his mask and based his personality on his design?

And to be clear, I'm not trying to throw crap at the movie or the staff responsible for it. It's still near and dear to my heart and I'm sure they didn't have time to do the entire research for a direct-to-DVD film they'd have to release in less than a year probably.
I merely wish to be educated in this subject, and if other characters suffered from misrepresentation in the movies when compared to how they were written in the books/lore.

My take at Artakha

With what little pieces I had left, I tried to recreate Artakha, literally made with scraps. Never thought the Uniter chest piece would be so useful but here we are ๐Ÿ‘

And yes, I know the red hammer doesn't exactly do him any favors, but I built it like two years ago and haven't been able to find a proper user. I love the design, and the Hau, being the symbol of Mata Nui before the Ignika became a thing, gives it a rather regal status, so I thought it would be perfect for Artakha, who follows the will of Mata Nui.

I must credit a friend of mine for giving me the idea of using Kongu Mahri chest piece as a chest plate with his own Artakha design. Yes, this was all part of an Artakha d*ck measuring contest ๐Ÿคฃ

How to fumble at a Helryx MOC

>Visualize Helryx with a Toa Mata torso because she's the first Toa ever created, thus making her look ancient, and add a Nuva armor because it looks cool in your head.

>Order the necessary pieces in Bricklink.

>Receive the pieces.

>Assemble the MOC.

>Go to her lore page in Biosector01 to make sure the weapons look accurate enough.

>Stumble upon this line from Swamp of Secrets: "If Tahu expected the ruler of this land to be some massive, heavily-armored warrior who could snap a Toa in two with no effort, he was to be disappointed. The figure that awaited them was a Toa, although one WHOSE ARMOR LOOKED QUITE DIFFERENT FROM THEIRS!!!!".

>Realize you're too immature to live with your mistakes.

>Load the gun.

>Pull the trigger.

>Realize that Midak skyblasters don't really explode, but at least the funny image of the kid in the yellow triangle from the building instructions wasn't lying.

>Also the Gali Uniter mask doesn't make the build any favors.

And this is why you have to read, kids. ๐Ÿฅฒ

Might find a workaround but this situation situation of mine is just hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚

We were robbed of the brotherhood between Mata Nui and Makuta. ยฟHow to fix it?

I know that plans change. Back in 2001, Mata Nui was the god of creation and Makuta the god of destruction. Then when the Matoran Universe was introduced, they had to be given more grounded backstories, but they were still considered brothers.

And yet, canonically, they never interacted even once. With that creation-destruction dichotomy gone, there had to be something that tied them together, but there was nothing to replace that. Instead, it all was left as Makuta's ultimate proof of his arrogance.

Maybe we can blame this on Bionicle's early cancellation. Maybe, given the time, their relationship could have been better explored, or even added more interactions before their final battle. But alas, they only exchanged a few words just before coming to blows.

I think the writers tried to justify their status as brothers with the fact that the Great Beings wanted Teridax to take over the MU while Mata Nui would control another giant robot, as it happened in the Spherus Magna Alternate Universe, but... It feels kinda lackluster if you ask me. Again, the writers had to rush it so I can't blame them, but there are many ways to develop their relationship in more meaningful ways.

I'm gonna come up with an example, though I'm fully aware it can't fit in the canon since Mata Nui first came into being as the GSR and Makuta was created AFTER Mata Nui left Bara Magna. So... consider this my own cool fan fiction ๐Ÿฅน:

During the early days of the construction of the Matoran Universe, the Great Beings had created several powerful beings to direct the workers from the shadows, which included Mata Nui and Teridax among others, to whom they could entrust the existence of the outside world and their true mission.

However, as the Baterra were out of control, they were killing so many people that they could no longer be ignored, so the Great Beings deployed Mata Nui and Makuta Teridax to deal with them. Fighting side by side, the two reduced the Baterra's numbers enough so that they wouldn't pose such a huge threat. Danger is the anvil where trust is forged as they say, so Mata Nui and Makuta became brothers in arms, equals.

However, when the Great Beings selected Mata Nui to control the GSR, Teridax began to suffer a feeling of insignificance. Someone whom he considered his equal and did the same feats as he did was rewarded with the status of "godhood" and the eternal worship of the Matoran, while he would remain a servant of his will. Over the millennia, this frustration would evolve into envy, desiring the power his brother had.

Again, I know that this fanfic of mine can't fit into the canon for the reasons stated above, but it works not only because it gives them a shared background, but because it makes their eventual battle tragic. The Brotherhood of Makuta went as far as removing their inner light, so in this scenario, Teridax would have done this to bury his feelings towards his brother and prevent them from getting in the way of his ambitions. Mata Nui was betrayed and poisoned to death by the one to whom he once entrusted his life. Even though he had to kill him to save his people, he'd mourn for him and wonder if he could have done something to save him from his own insecurities. Was he a bad friend?

Hell, if you want to put more emphasis the dichotomy between Mata Nui and Makuta, you can make Mata Nui the original owner of the Mask of Light while Makuta has the Mask of Shadows. That could explain why Makuta was so strangely humble when he first met Takanuva, as seeing the Avohkii unearthed feelings he buried long ago. Yeah, this is just fan service on my part, but let me be a kid ๐Ÿ˜

Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts about the matter. What do you think? If you can come up with another way to develop their relationship enough to make them actual brothers (in arms), please, do share it, regardless of whether or not it can fit into the canon. This is honestly a fun exercise ๐Ÿ‘
