


Need help on removing corroded flange nuts
05 350z
Trying to drop the transmission on my 350z for a clutch job and the Y-pipe flange nuts are completely corroded and fused.
So far I’ve tried heating them up, pb blaster, sawzall, nut splitter, breaker bar etc the nut splitter did helped breaking them a bit but it didn’t helped getting them fully out and nothing is working.
The bolts are so corroded they seem welded together from heat cycles.
This is my only car so I’m stranded until I get this exhaust apart and clutch job done so I’m looking for the fastest method that’s worked for anyone that has had the same issue as me
