Has anyone else's scheduled release double posted?

My scheduled post published twice. I'm imagining it has something to do with when the server went down for maintenance, but wanted to see if anyone else shared the same experience.

Now that I'm a few chapters into my first story, I have an overwhelming urge to go back and edit it all.

As the title says, I'm now 20+ chapters into my first story. I didn't know anything about backlogs or anything before hoping into this, I just wanted to write for myself.

I didn't know exactly where my story was going at first, but I now feel like I understand my characters more and the world better. I've been playing with the thought of going back to edit what I've written, but I keep hearing some famous author's advice pushing against getting caught in the "editing spiral".

I realize my story is still young, but I wanted to get the advice of some more experienced authors.

Got handed a PIP today, working on my resume now as a result.

Long story short they're giving me until July 19th to improve, or I'm canned. They told me not to focus on the "termination" side of the PIP and focus on the performance improvement side, but then what? I spend the rest of my time at the company with the sword of Damocles hovering over me, threatening to suddenly slice through my neck if I'm not pushing out 110% of what they want to see out of me? I send an email with a typo in the title and I'm suddenly out of a job?

I hate this. I really love this job. I enjoy what I do. I was overwhelmed with what was expected of me when I first got this job, and I fucked up plenty as a result. Now I'm just sad.

Writers: What elements do you notice your readers enjoying?

Be it through advertising, shout outs, or a prominent element in one of your chapters, view count may spike at one point in your story above the others. What do you feel made that chapter pop?

TEN CHAPTERS BABYYYYYY

I just finished chapter 10 and I am so pumped. This has been the most fun exploration of my imagination in my life and I can't wait to keep writing.

I'm new to putting my writing out for other people to see. I've put up two chapters of my story so far. For a new account with a new story, what is good for RoyalRoad in terms of views/average views?

Current Numbers

I'm trying to get some context from more experienced writers, so any feedback is appreciated.
