I Need Help Covering Overlapping Apartment Rent Expenses due to Apartment Managements purposeful delay.

Hello everyone! Normally I don’t like to ask for money. I’m pretty embarrassed about it but that’s probably the Asian in me talking. I’m going through a rough time involving my apartment management so if anyone is willing to help me out anything is appreciated.

In short the apartment complex I live at kind of screwed me over. They’re double dipping and (im fairly certain, purposely) delayed my application to another apartment unit within the same management and because of that my vacancy notice got delayed for my current apartment. I now have to pay around $1900 at move in for the new apartment and $880-$930 for the current one I’m leaving. 3k in 2 weeks is just not really feasible making $17.75 an hour. The help is greatly appreciated and I even have a go fund me set up. Thank you so much for anyone who decides to help me out.

Do I need a sales tax permit and other things?

In short I want to sell things I’ve made at crafts fairs and online. I have a small business plan and things that I’ve prepped but I do have a few questions. Do I need to get a sales tax permit? I want to do this the right way and I’m just not sure what I need to do. Starting an LLC is expensive rn so I was going to do sole proprietorship because I’m just doing this by myself. Is there anything else I need to do in regards to permits or taxes as well?

I want to run a small business but am unsure about a few things

Hi! I’m 23 years old and since I was 15 I’ve always wanted to be one of those art vendors at craft fairs and festivals. I have a pretty clear idea of what I want to sell but I also have no guidance whatsoever on how to do any of the technical stuff. I know I want to vend but I also want to have an online shop.

For example: I’m struggling on whether I want to use Etsy, Shopify, and/or square. In the past I would’ve completely gone for Etsy but nowadays there’s a start up fee along with all the transaction fees (in short there’s a crap ton of fees) so I’ve seen a. Lot of creators turn to Shopify. My thing is I also hear Shopifys equipment is quite expensive to start off as well. So I hear a lot of small businesses start off with square for in person pos system since it’s a cheaper to start with. For anyone who’s used any of these is love your input and opinions.

I’ve also wondered if it’d be better to be a sole proprietorship or an LLC. I know that by doing an LLC if for some odd reason I were to get sued I personally wouldn’t be liable but my business would but I also feel like that’s also a little expensive to start off with if I’m not even sure this will take off or not. I’d like a separate bank account for all transactions but a lot of financials request a certain amount of money within the account for you to even apply or even need a EIN for you to open an account for your business. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance! 🙏🏼

I’d like to add this is just meant to be a little side hustle for fun. I want this to be as easy as possible
