I messed up and got scammed.

I've had a credit card with BPI for around 6 years. I've been actively using it and have never redeemed my points. I just let it accumulate and will use them someday. A few days ago, I was considering checking how many points I have and maybe using them. I received an SMS from where I get BPI texts. It notified me that I have this many points and to go to the link to claim a reward. I thought the timing was right, so I went there, picked an item, entered my name, address, email, phone number, followed by an OTP. The OTP notification just showed the 6-digit code as a pop-up. I entered it and it showed as invalid. I received 4 more OTP texts and thought it was odd. When I read the actual OTP message, it was confirming a purchase in 40k Indian Rupees. I went to the BPI app and blocked my credit card. When I got home, I called the BPI hotline and the agent made a report and said that their fraud team will take around 10 days to investigate. This was 3 days ago.

26k php is a lot of money for a guy like me. Am I screwed?

I've only started investing early this year. I put some money into a REIT on COL Financial. I've been reading about ETFs and how IBKR is where I can invest. My salary is in USD, and I put it in my BPI Dollar savings account. Right now, I can only put maybe $200 a month. I read something about not doing it monthly because the wire transfer fee will be heavy.

For those with a BPI $ account, how do you invest in ETFs?
