Hexblast Totem Chronomancer

The title is intentional, it's "totem" not "totems" because we only need one to automate hexblast and remove the clunk of self casting it since it snipes curses RIGHT when they reach half duration. Hexblast is a bit different due to how it works now and the fact that it can only detonate curses that are at half duration or less.

Due to this we only need one big detonation to be triggered every time it's possible before we recast despair. It's not like spark totems or otherwise where you'd want as many totems as your spirit pool can handle (with ancestral bond) casting as fast as they possibly can to get as many spells out as possible.

I'm getting my curse down to 0.6 second duration with all the reduced skill/curse duration and compressed duration II so the totem should trigger a hexblast every 0.3 seconds, almost as fast as I can cast despair and have it activate.

This is going to be my league start regardless of how potentially bad it might be. If there's any glaring issues with the "shell" of the build please let me know!

Bloodmage/oracle is likely a better option for this due to hexblast's 7% base crit but I should be able to get 70%+ crit between effigy, pinpoint crit, investment on the tree and gear.

Really keen to hear people's thoughts, thanks Exiles!

EDIT: Thanks to the fine folks on this sub, I've decided to look into Oracle for this build and will retool it. Chrono's benefits won't really apply to Hexblast in any way shape or form sadly. I really appreciate the criticism and will look into a melee Chrono later in the league.

The story of Kalandra

A new video series where I dive into individual characters/civilizations/stories from the lore for me to research and break down. The problem with the lore for many (including myself) is its fractured nature. Texts, dialogue, environmental lore, etc is spread out and scattered and 99% of the playerbase is blasting by all these things that the narrative designers put meticulous effort into for world building.

I hope this series and future lore videos I put out can garner the appreciation for those details that they deserve by bringing everything together in a cohesive video! Cheers Exiles

The first of many lore research projects to come. I scraped together what little is known about The Precursors into one place in video form. I'm not approaching these as a lore expert, I'm learning as I go and citing my sources for each topic I dive into.

I hope you all enjoy, thanks Exiles!
