I am a professional windshield washer on a street corner downtown, and the recent rise of Waymos has been rough on my business.

With no driver inside to flash a gun at me, I have a very high rate of completing step 1 (washing the windshield), but then when it comes time to extort them for money there's nobody there!

Any ideas? Should I start asking the passengers? I am afraid they only have crypto and will try to talk to me about their podcasts...

I know that there's a five year vesting period, which I will definitely not hit so they will claw it back. I'm fine with this and don't care about the bonus.

BUT:

Support today said they don't update the 1099 they issue with these clawbacks. Does this mean I'll have to pay income tax on the bonuses, even if it just ends up getting clawed back?

Seems like I'm being forced to pay income tax on 1% on all of my deposits if I withdraw them within 5-yrs?
