Just thought I'd show off my project from last year this is just about half of what me and my wife laid ourselves. Took us about two days. One year since laying it and I am super happy. After struggling with seed and weeds for four years to get grass I gave up and went the easy way.

Scraped the land myself with a bobcat and added 8 inches of topsoil before laying. Also fertilized the ground before putting the sod down. Not sure if that was the correct move but it seemed to work.

Now we have to do lots of hard scaping this summer to finally finish our outside.
