I had ordered a two piece strap before my original post hoping that what many of you had said was going to be the case. It definitely was the strap that caused my issues with the watch. I am going to take some of your suggestions on straps and order a few more for it!
I sold off my SRPF53 as I just wasn't wearing it hardly ever due to the 41mm case size (at least it wasn't super thick) and got an SRPG35. For some reason I just felt meh when I put the watch on. It feels overly thick for seemingly no reason. Should I size down and go for the 37mm SRPJ series?
Has anyone else felt the same meh when getting a new seiko? I am still well within the return window for it so im looking for input / weighing my options.
I will note this is the first time I have bought a watch online and felt underwhelmed. I know my dimensions sweet spot for my wrist and this SRPG was well within my sweet spot zone.
