Lifetime offer for a small SaaS - Yay or Nay?

So I built a small tool that is currently completely free and it's gaining traction on its own. I never built it to be a paid product but it simply needs to generate some income if I want to justify putting more time in it. As there seems to be demand for it.

I'm debating putting this up as a lifetime deal. Pay x amount once and you simply "own" the software. You can't download it, it only works on my server but no need to pay again. Ever.

The reason is I want to give the user a good deal. I don't need to make my income from it. I just want it to cover costs, the server, my time and a happy customer.

But somehow this still feels like it might bite me in the ass at some point in time in the future.
Thoughts?

I could really use some design critique because i'm going mad

Edit: Guys, I already completely changed the page in the first picture in the post title so no need to waste time on giving feedback on the old version. I changed quite some things based on the friendly feedback I got here already.

There are way more screenshots though in the url a few lines lower.

I'm very deep into a project and the 12 hour working days are killing me haha.

So basically i'm building a wedding photography/videography planner (called Wedding Desk). Nothing ground breaking but i'm trying to connect the pieces so it makes for a perfect work flow for a wedding photographer. So basically from bridal couple intake to the photo/video delivery and anything inbetween

I'm not focusing on billing, invoices and things like that. There are already good tools that do that. It will have some basic options but the main focus is the timeline of the wedding day really. Anyway, that's not what this post is about.

The thing is, I can't look at it with a fresh pair of eyes anymore. In in too deep and while i'm certainly not losing track of what i'm doing, i'm unsure about my design choices.

I'm having massive troubles with the UI. I feel like i'm often totally over-doing things. Now i'm in the phase where i'm actually removing options and trying to declutter the UI.
I'm totally convinced a user interface should be as clean and simple as possible but some tools just have a small learning curve. There is really no way around it.
I mean, take SalesForce or similar tools. You just need to spend some time on it to understand it. And i'm afraid my app will need some time as well. At the same time I realize this might turn off new and/or free users who want to test the software first.

I'm getting pretty close to a MVP and want to start inviting some test users in 1 or 2 weeks (photographers and people in the wedding business, not just random devs) but i'm very unsure about the user experience of the software as it is right now.

I think I could do with some feedback from developpers first before showing it to actual users.

So please, give me all you got. Any critique is welcome. It will greatly help me.

And yes, i'm building with AI. I either have the option to not do this at all or do it with AI. If I all could do it by hand, with my own design and coding skills I certainly would, but I simply can't. Please don't make that the subject of this post ;)
Cheers!
