Hey yall! Picked up my first pair of loggers from Red Wing and am having some trouble with sizing. For reference, my Brannock is 12D but I have a pretty low volume foot and little ankles. I fit perfectly into an 11D on no8 last and on my 953s. Found a pair of 699s in 11.5D online for a good price, cleaned and conditioned them with obenaufs, and just tried them on.

Even with a thick Kiltie they seem really wide and close to touching on the shaft. Should I be looking for a narrow size?

It’s very difficult to size the no50 last with lace up boots since they’re out of production.

To people who have boots in both lasts, what is your sizing comparatively?

What do yall think would be the best colormatch for my 4579s? Not looking for fringes but I can always trim them. I’ve looked at Rose Anvil’s site and Nick’s but I can’t make a call. It’s a deep red/brown that’s almost purple in some light. Any help is appreciated!
