Every mainline chapter past GOBB3 introduces a new hellish character. 3 introduced hellish banban, 4 had hellish little beak, 6 had hellish Nabnab, 7 had Hellish Bittergiggle, 8 had Hellish Flumbo, and now LTTTA is getting hellish Opila Bird.
Opila Bird is the only character to physically appear in all mainline games. Even the super iconic characters like Jumbo Josh and Banban aren't in every character (Josh is absent in 6, Banban is absent from 1 and 7)
No characters die on screen until GOBB7 (The fiddles experiments are already dead, Queen Bouncelia presumably dies sometime after we leave the kingdom)

The deaths of the elephants in the Babylon war disturbed me a lot more than the Ceratopsian scene in the Night Feeder.
