Replace Typhon Grom chassis

I broke the shock tower on my Grom, fixed it with glue and a screw, but I’m going to replace it anyway.

Also be adding a GPM Aluminium 7075 Alloy Front Damper Plate and and JOYSOG Stainless Steel Front Rear Chassis Armor Protection Plate.

Am I wrong to assume I can just remove and reinstall all parts? Or is it best to replace some of the O-Rings or shims? (Couldn’t find any on the exploded view)

What grease would be the best on the outside of the diffs?

Broke the front shock-tower 🙁

The replacement part is the complete under chassis?! Weird choice. They offer a steel hop-up part, ordered that too, so I hope it’s more bash-resistant then 😀

iXSR+ and Spektrum SLT ESC/Receiver 2-in-1

I treated myself to a Spektrum iXSR+ the other day, and I really like that beast! Yes, it's overkill, but I'm a sucker for all sorts of gadgets. Fairly new to this community, so I hope this is no reason for 'offtopic' reactions.

Works like a charm with the SR315 in the 6S. I think its SR315 the uses DSMR protocol, so I get all the smart and telemetry goodies. Or either way it's the ESC passing the info. It just works 😄

For the SLT 2-in-1 receivers I understand that they use another protocol 'SLT' which doesn't pass through any telemetry? I can't seem to find good documentation for this. If I'm not mistaken, this new SLT protocol was added afterwards with an update to the iXSR+?

Anyone here who is using this combo?

2x Spektrum G2 100C 3S 5000mAh, yeah! Although they’re not hard-packs, they fit very good. They’ll probably not survive an extreme bash session, but I wasn’t planning to go extreme just yet 😀

I noticed there are no battery listed under Arrma’s website “6S Completion guide”. I’m guessing any set of two G2 smart battery will do?
