I’m still learning how to build depth with alcohol markers, but I’m really proud of this one. I started with flat yellow, then layered a darker yellow to make the armor look more gold. The white highlights helped a lot too. She went from “cute warrior” to “don’t play with my kingdom.” 😆

First finished page since my mom went to be with the angels. 🕊️💛
She bought me most of my coloring books and a good portion of my markers, so picking them back up has been emotional. Finishing this felt like a small piece of myself coming back, and like I was using something she gave me to make something bright.
