Bachelors degree in Integrative General Studies (BGS) for pre-med? Is this the best degree??

I just saw a post from a parent looking into this degree for their son who’s coming into UCF with an AA degree. One of the responses was that if you just wanted a bachelors degree so you can move on to your masters degree, then you can essentially take whatever courses you wanted, and just make sure to include the prerequisite courses you need for your next program. What am I missing and why wouldn’t everyone take this major? Sounds like fun.

My kids have recently had some weird spots. It appeared my son had chicken pox and my daughter impetigo (diagnosed by a dermatologist but my son’s varicella markers were negative on a blood test). This all started last month. Yesterday I realized I had these markings on my upper inner thighs and similar spots on my pubic area. I am terrified that this is HSV2— something I’ve never had in my life. I’ve been treating this with leftover mupirocin ointment. It was itchy yesterday and today is a mix of itchy/pain. Just generally uncomfortable. Has anyone seen anything like this?
