Should I go back to blonde?

First two are my current hair. Three and four are a shorter cut. Last two blonde highlights. I’m feeling a need to change my hair but I think I want to keep it long. Should I get highlights again? Or something different? Was looking at copper highlights

This is random but it’s been bugging me lately. I worry that my personal beliefs have impacted my son socially and possibly alienated him from the boys in his class. He’s in pre-K so it’s not a big deal this year but I’m wondering how I should handle these situations going forward.

He came home a few weeks ago and told me he was playing a game at recess and girls weren’t allowed. He’s been friends with both the boys and girls in his class and he told me a few of the girls wanted to join but couldn’t. I told him that wasn’t nice and he should allow everyone to play and not play games that leave people out.

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for a boy in his class. When we RSVP’d he was looking forward to it but as we were driving there he told me that this boy isn’t his friend and that he likes to play (the boys only game). It’s a specific pretend game but the details aren’t important. He did play with a few other boys at the party but ended up in conflict with the birthday boy and another boy. We didn’t want to make a big deal at the party so we just told him to be nice and everyone moved on but I’m wondering if pushing my ideals on him was the right move. We’re a liberal family and I feel strongly about equality but I also know how hard it is to be different and go against the grain for things you believe in. Again I know he’s young so I’m not worried about this incident exactly but looking for others experience and ideas going forward.
