How do I get good enough for Absolute?

I love this game. I have L25P4 Tactical, Heavy and Vanguard. Am working on sniper now and plan on maxing out all classes and weapons. Been running decap on substantial when L1 since my main weapons are only masterworked, and I move up to ruthless when I get them to artificer tier. I'm getting better at the game, and can even carry sometimes. I want to make the jump to absolute and lethal. Sometimes I run lethal, but I feel absolute is too big a jump esp when my main weapons are only artificier tier. On sniper Im using the relic bolt pistol as main damage since I don't have the perks for getting ammo back on bolt sniper or las fusil. For those of you playing on absolute, are you doing it when maxed out weapons only? I'm sure there are brothers who are good enough to parry and block everything, but I'm not there yet. Any advice for how to start running absolutes in general? TIA. The Emperor Protects!

Stop saying nothing kills immortal barbs. It's simply not true.

Forgive me if I sound salty, I am. HC, paragon 240. This is my second HC selig build. The first build I admit, I undercooked and didn't have all the breakpoints. My second barb I took my time with. 478Hp, 570 plus fury, GA fury Regen everywhere. Resource gen on both rings and also tempered resource Regen on them since I didn't have starless skies. Lucky hit resource on 4 items and rocking a 38% Endurant faith charm. Got clapped by a pit 125 pit boss standing/moving in I guess some kind of red/black pool. Don't know if that's poison or shadow.

All these stories I hear about afking at pit 135 bosses and only meph and lilith one shot mechanics can kill you are simply not true. Immortal barb is just the tankiest. Having to level warplans again makes me want to throw up a little.

Sorry rant over. Thank you for your attention.

Is ROSS mandatory for a selig ww build?

I'm having a pita of a time trying to get a starless sky. I have an heir, selig, well rolled gohr, GA max resource chest, GA fury gen on pants and boots. I'm wondering if I could swap to the selig build with the above and then hunt for a Ross later and just use a GA ring in place till I find one. Is ROSS mandatory for the build? I play on HC and am paragon 240.

With the changes to Glenn's Anvil and resolve stacks, is it still worth going immortal selig?

Basically title. With resolve stacks going up to 58 on MW gear and toughness going through the roof, is it a viable alternative to immortal selig barb?

I died fighting T11 butcher on HC with selig build. Where did I go wrong?

So I got pretty excited. Put together a selig build and basically used robs 200t impossible build. 473 HP and 343 fury. I only have a low roll of resource on one of my charms. The rest were random stats.

I had 2 GA Lucky hit to resource on off hand weapon and ROSS. On one ring I had GA max resource Regen. GA Max fury Regen on Selig. I believe I was regenerating 24 resource. I was also running endurant faith in the charm slot.

Felt pretty strong, clearing T11 nicely and I wanted to go hunt for a better ramaldani. Killed the butcher the first time but the second time, I couldn't DPS him down and we went into his invincibility laser/hot lava floor which was what killed me. Rolling another barb right now but I though Selig is supposed to be immortal to everything except T12 meph laser beam.

Really want to understand where I went wrong before I gear another and make a dumb mistake. Kinda scared now cause it was so hard to gear one in the first place. Paragon 212.

Edit: ok so after reading a bit more, I realized I didn't have the earth striker aspect imprinted on selig. Only had anger management on my boots. So does this mean I don't have berserk uptime and was not receiving the benefit of 5 set bonus of crucible?
