I've had what i THINK is BV for the better part of about 3 months, avoided going to the doctors due to gender issues, brought it up to my mum yesterday and we ordered some Cantebalance. My main thing has been that i have a really strong fishy odour down there (to the point it really repulsed me when i first noticed it) I researched how to properly look after myself, started washing better in hopes to stop it, it still persists.

flash forward to today when the gel arrives, I checked my smell and absolutely nothing, just a slight metallic hint. Has it magically cleared up on it's own? should I use the Cantebalance anyway or will that just cause my PH to get even worse??

I've got Prom in a month and i'm not super knowledgeable on formal attire.

I want to wear some Cherry Red Dr Martens (as they're the nicest shoes I own and i don't want to buy new ones)

What part of the suit should I buy to match the red? I was thinking of the shirt but then i don't know if that makes a sandwich effect, my other ideas were the tie/belt but who knows (not me). Also, what colour should the rest of the suit be? black? navy? a light colour?

I'm not matching the suit with anyone so that's not an issue.

If anyone could throw whatever they know about suit styling at me that would also be helpful.
