Possible wisdom tooth removal infection?

Hello! Looking for some reassurance or advice on this.

12 days ago I had all four wisdom teeth removed, and four bone grafts put in. So far it seems like they’ve healed fine! No more swelling, hardly any pain anymore and my gums don’t look irritated at all from what I can see.

Only problem is the last few days (maybe 4/5?) I’ve had a horrible taste in my mouth, around the bottom left extraction site. I called my orthodontist and they recommended using the syringe for salt water rinses in the area. The problem persisted, and I ended up seeing some white pus come from a little flap in my gums!

I called again today to update them and they said the same thing. I got told to call tomorrow if the problem persists.

Do you guys think it’s an infection? I took antibiotics (amoxicillin) the first week, but nothing since. Should I schedule a follow up or wait things out? I’m a huge worrier, so I just want to know if this is a serious emergency. Thank you in advance!!
