UPDATE: Ok, so now that I finally understand THCA is actually weed. What do you recommend for someone who wants natural flowers that give you the buzzy creative vibes but without the anxiety? (I’ll try anything just nothing dipped or rolled in any dust and no shake)

PREVIOUS POST: So we’re heading to Illinois again and this time when I show up at the dispensary I want to have an actual order so I don’t get talked into buying something I could easily get in Wisconsin.
We’re looking for something fairly natural - like a hybrid or partial Indica that won’t have us laughing but not bracing for a panic attack.
The trouble is, every time I search for something akin to that on the dispensary websites, the results always give me flowers that are primarily THCA.
Isn’t THCA the same as Delta 9? If that is the case wouldn’t be something I could just buy on my side of the cheddar curtain?

I’m looking for suggestions for mellow vapes - ones you can hit a couple times before bed - but that won’t incinerate your throat and lungs. I bought one from High Supply and Lordy, it burns worse than the harshest commercial weed from the mid-90s.
